Well, we don't need any more wings. We need shooters but the contract he got wasn't only due to his shooting. He would be superfluous here and we couldn't afford that contract anyway.
But it's a good deal. Just not for us.
Don't know whether it will be sad or predictable or both when Bynum is out of the league in 2 years.
IF (monster if) Bynum is healthy and goes to Portland they could do serious damage. POR is the perfect fit if he is healthy.
Pacers have talked to Carlos Delfino. Really good shooter who can't keep up with more athletic players.
I knew that they looked at Budinger also. He's athletic and good shooter but was injured all of last year.
Wow, I truly didn't believe this would happenMarc Stein @ESPNSteinLine 2m
Pacers have agreed to rescind Tyler Hansbrough's qualifying offer, I'm told, which immediately makes him unrestricted free agent
"I like our group of people," Ainge told USA Today. "I'm trying to teach them about basketball, and they're trying to teach me about analytics."
The Wizards would be at a comfortable seed in next year's playoffs if they can all stay healthy. Especially John Wall.
"And David put his hand in the bag and took out a stone and slung it. And it struck the Philistine on the head and he fell to the ground. Amen. "

San Antonio is finalizing a five year, $45 million contract extension for center Tiago Splitter, league sources tell Y! Sports.
Wow terrible contract BrushwithDeath and I laughed at the rumor thrown out by a Brazilian media guy. The guy who wrote that article was dead on he cited his source saying Splitter would get 9m a year.
Pays to be tall I guess. Even if you don't play like it.
also, wow, didn't realize Splitter was already 28
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...
Wow that Splitter deal is really bad.
5 years for Splitter. Ew.
That's a horrible contract.
There won't be a fifth year on the Splitter deal. The terms will be four years, $36 million-plus, sources tell Y! Sports.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 2, 2013
Still high, but at least it's only 4 years
Nazr Mohammed agrees to 1-year deal with Bulls.
I know, no news. But I got to thinking...how old is this dude? He was the 29th pick in the 1998 Draft (35yo). Dude has never averaged double figures in anything (almost...9.7 points one year). It's mind-boggling to me how someone like him could be a 15 year veteran. Didn't we have him on a summer league at one point?
