My bad if it's been posted, but LaMarcus Aldridge said that trade demand rumor was BS. Gotta love twitter.

You're insane. Rudy Gay at the 2 starting for us makes us instantly better. And that's before we fill our bench holes with possibilities like Tony Allen, OJ Mayo, etc.
Well for one thing, Rudy isn't a two and never has been. For another, you just named two better candidates for our starting two-guard role n the very next sentence. Allen and OJ are both flawed players as well, in different ways, but neither is likely to make more than half what Rudy is over the next three seasons. Yikes.

Rudy Gay is fool's gold. He's paid like a superstar and doesn't remotely play like one. He barely shot over 40% last season, has topped 35% from 3 just twice in his career, doesn't play any defense, and would be our highest-paid player next season. Did I mention that he requires prescription lenses and refuses to wear them? And that his acquisition likely costs the team Lance, who is, in my opinion, already a much more useful player?

You don't make wholesale changes to a young team that went 7games with the champions in the NBA.

Also, this isn't a fantasy league team, you don't just make trades to make trades while focusing on stats. The Grizzlies, a very similar team to the pacers, traded away Gay bc of his inefficiency and inconsistency on such a large contract. They made this trade KNOWING they lacked a legit scoring threat from the perimeter. that says something about Gay imo.

The last thing we need is to acquire that same player. This team was built together and only needs a few more pieces...they don't need wholesale changes

Good. Now we don't have to deal with people not understanding why we couldn't get Robinson

So does that mean Hickson will be a free agent?? I know we wouldnt be able to afford him though.

Let us re-evaluate the tank for the #1 pick again. People are saying that if you tank for the # 1 that is really the best way to improve.

What position was Bargnani drafted at again?

Look I know people are saying this Wiggins is a can't miss prospect and they may very well be right, I have no idea. All I know is that this time last season Shabazz Muhammad was the sure fire can't miss prospect.

In other words things change, there is no one sure fire way to improve your team. Toronto has it particularly hard because they are north of the border and Taxes up there are killer. So I will concede this, if there ever was a time for them to do it it might be this time right here as Wiggins is from Canada. But other than that I just can't think that trading away DeRozen, Ross, Valanciunas & even Gay to "tank" (again) is a good thing. They have a good young team now, they should just look to add to it and not worry about dumping everyone again.

Just think though if Cleveland gets a lottery next year and may not get #1, but still top 5, they are going to be set for the next few years

Another possible landing spot for Jeremy Lin is Detroit, source says. Rockets would acquire Jose Calderon in sign-and-trade in such a deal.

I'm not one that likes to bring former Pacer players back. People forget how much criticism there was about Price's game when he was here. It kept Sookie busy trying to defend his game. There are better options available. Pass.
His fans made it into AJ vs lance Stephenson. No one really despised an except when he was a chuker

@TheRocketGuy: Mavs didn't give Darren Collison the QA today. He wants to win NOW, doesn't care about starting . . .just wants to contend.

Now he doesn't want to be an starter? Lol

Consistently being benched and being told "you're probably better off the bench" will do that to you lol
