**** it lets just sign Watford, force him to play the 4 and call it an offseason. I can't take the waiting any longer.

We're not even to day 1 for when teams can actually sign guys, and we're only on day 3 of when they can even talk to guys, and you can't wait any longer??

God help you when it's August and September.

Not used to every little move mattering so much. The decisions and negotiations made in the next few days, could very well be the deciding factor in whether we win a championship or not.

I didn't follow the offseason much back in the 2003-Brawl timeframe.

Per RealGM's Wiretap via Shams Charania:

    http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap...zlies-Clippers

Australian free agent forward Joe Ingles is attracting interest from four teams the Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers that believe his defense and outside shooting could translate into the NBA next season, a league source told RealGM.

Ingles has discussed potential workouts for teams, and he also has lucrative offers from clubs wanting to keep him in Europe.

After averaging 15 points, five rebounds and 4.2 assists for Australia in the 2012 Olympics including a 19-point, eight-rebound, six-assist effort against Team USA Ingles had a strong close to the Spanish ACB season. He scored 25 points on five three-pointers against Real Madrid in the championship game.

Ingles, 25, spent the past three seasons with FC Barcelona.
Joe Ingles is a tall, lengthy swingman (6'8.25 in shoes, 6'10.25 wingspan, 8'9 standing reach) that can shoot the 3 well, create for others (he's a smart passer) and play solid D.

My guess is that he'll stay in Europe after all but I like that we have interest in him

Mmm at this point I think we need to get players who will have more of an immediate impact on our team - a player who will get fairly significant minutes off the bench and make good use of it
follow me @TruenoPanda - lets talk Pacers!

Portland is a possible destination for center Robin Lopez, with Indiana and others on a short list in pursuit, league sources tell Y!

The Pacers are likely going to get outbid, but I'd love having Robin Lopez off the bench.
WE ARE NOT GETTING ERIC GORDON

Joe Ingles could contribute immediatedly just like Copeland and Prigioni contributed immediatedly for the Knicks last season.

I wish we still had Jones or Barbosa. We have three wings we can count on every night. We need a fourth who can defend and shoot.

I wonder if this is an attempt to slide mahinmi over to the 4. Cuz honestly, their production is a wash. So either they're looking to get a b/u center on a cheaper deal or they want our second unit to be HUGE.

I know. Lopez is very consistent. Ian is like a box of chocolates.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

With so much trade interest in center Robin Lopez, it is unlikely the Pelicans will fail to guarantee his contract this week.

Well we can't say the front office tried. We've been linked to almost every decent PF on the market this offseason.

Robin is stronger, mahinmi is quicker. They're both in love with driving to the basket, they're both good free throw shooters for big men. Robins a bit better passer, and they both have terrible hands. Robin, however, played a lot of time with real point guards in his career and so gets more run in the pick n roll. He had the game of his life against us earlier this year. I've prolly watched him play maybe 5 times, all in the past 2 seasons. He's good, but not much better than Ian.

Yeah, because in PD land being linked to rumors is proof of effort, while not being linked is proof everyone has gone fishing.

I was wanting Lopez when he was on the low a couple seasons ago. I had some trades for him I posted in the trade section (I think I posted them here, might had been somewhere else). I really don't get why the Pelican's would want to trade him unless it's for his rise in stock coming off his first good season. My only concern with him is his agility and them big boats breaking down.

Lopez had 23 assists through his first 3 years in the league COMBINED. I know assists aren't a perfect stat but I would be really hesitant to say he is a better passer then... anyone. Obviously his assist numbers have improved a bit over the past 2 seasons but he still is a marginally acceptable passer (if even that). Not that Mahinmi's numbers look any better, just funny to see someone compare their passing ability and see either one as better than the other.

Regardless, Lopez would be an interesting addition. Definitely an upgrade.

He's also arguably an even worse rebounder than his brother. I doubt either could lead the WNBA in rebounding. He's a surprisingly good scorer, though, so if we're looking for some frontcourt scoring off the bench, he (or Landry) would be great a pickup.

This. Detroit doesn't really want Gay's contract, but some things are worth the price.

OH . NO, MAYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So I guess this means they aren't pursuing JR Smith? So the Monta Ellis/Brandon Jenning's back court, has now become the Brandon Jennings/OJ Mayo back court? YIKES! What a disaster! Why is OJ gonna sign? He should've taken the Clippers or T'Wolves offer. Even for a little bit of money. Bucks won't contend next season.
