AZ Female Aug 9, 2011
Chris moved to Phoenix to work in a strip club, Amazons, (Cheetah's) until he failed as a promoter and bartender. He got into the loan modification business hustling people for thousands of dollars, until the laws stopped him in July 2010. He broke contact with his former business partner, Duane Delbeke, placing most debt and responsibility on him. National Standard Financial was bankrupt. He coached for Phoenix Community College which paved his way, to CBA, College Bound Allstars. There he ripped off parents, collecting fees for tournaments to travel. Most recent was the FAB 48, to be held in Las Vegas, July 2011, Chris kept the $3000plus and fled, stating he had a speaking engagement in Mexico, related to basketball. While Chris was spotted in Arizona, drinking and hanging out as usual, high from his daily pot smoking. Chris was not able to obtain a US Passport, since US Officials would not legally issue Chris Gatling a valid passport. He reportedly owes, triple figures in back child support, in the state of California. He is not in jail, yet because he is usually on the move, doesn't own a car. He Usually, has another female driving him around.. Chris resided in Paradise Valley, AZ July 2010-July 2011, where he failed to pay the owners for his stay. He attempted to rent to various people over Craigslist, claiming to own it. He successfully obtained $800 in cash for an Aug. 1 move in date, and $1600 in a cashiers check for an Aug 3 move in date. No parties were able to move in, legally, since the place was not his. Chris was long gone, and said to be headed to Miami. He approached CBA parents and Coaches prior, asking them to sublet the PV house. It even included a car. One that he obtained over the 4th of July holiday, on his excursion to Virginia. A Ford Focus was it? His plan was to escape Phoenix, with Virginia plates, a car given to him by a friend/relative. Guess he realized that it might catch up with him so he tried to ditch the car for cash. If Chris is out enjoying a life, from money he stole from parents and kids, who believed in his talks on basketball, "Commitment and Loyality" and renters, who thought they had a place to live. He is charming, acts humbled but is very dangerous. His scams will come as soon as this money runs out, again. He will repeat the same pattern, as soon as he is back to desperation. Chris will not operate any business or have a bank account, in his name. Or drive a car, legally in his name. He gets away with illegal activity temporarily, that the law has too many processes, to catch him in a timely manner. Justice will eventually be served. The system doesn't work fast, but it does work and we all have faith, otherwise, Karma!
