Default Any Photography buffs out there?

I've always had a yen to try photography. As an artist (amateur) I think I understand composition and positioning etc, but translating that to another media seems....mystereous.

Well today I rec'd a camera thru the mail I purchased on ebay. A Canon 60D....with an 18-135mm lens. It looks brand new even has the manuals etc. (No flash though). So as an extra treat (and to say it was a business expense) I went out and bought a Tamron 18-24mm wide angle lens so I can take really good pics of the interior of homes I'm listing.

Not being much of a techie (I know, big shock) this is going to be a challenge to learn. But I'm starting off on one of my dreams. Who knows, maybe someday I'll try to shoot bambi in a different way.

If you are a real estate agent, then my tip would be to over expose the photos a bit more to let more light into photos. Nothing worse then seeing house listings with dark photos.
