This is the Melo that I hope the Pacers see (assuming we take care of ATL of course).
He has this about one game in 10. Usually he shoots less but without JR he didn't have much choice. Other than the TO's, his game didn't bother me.

At least I feel less disgusted than I did at halftime. Still no excuse for the 1st half, not with our all-PG backcourt.

Well the Knicks can blame JR Smith for playing 1 more game, I expect the Knicks to take care of business in game 5, but if Melo or anyone gets injured for whatever reason in game 5, JR's getting all the backlash.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

No jr smith. That's really it.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I'll add lots of first half TO's to that. One or the other and we win. Couldn't make up for both.

Pretty much all of that stemmed from them lacking that second shot creator on offense, though.

At least three times someone was standing there holding the ball like it was a faintly spoiled cantaloupe just begging someone to take it off their hands. There were a couple of offensive fouls which I can live with but not paying enough attention to realize someone was behind you?

Most TO's in a 1st half all season - and we've been missing one person or other all year. We weren't ready to play.

If the Celtics could somehow take Game 5, then New York would certainly start to feel the pressure.

That's a gigantic "if" though. I fully expect New York to win game 5. MSG will be wild.

Jason Terry channeling his inner Nate Robinson and JR Smith channeling his inner Gerald Green.

Boston has long since stopped trying to score. If the Knicks catch fire they'll win this,

It looks like Boston is finally getting the 2011 Mavs Terry that they thought they were getting when they signed him.

New York is in big big trouble. They needed to go out there tonight and put the dagger in the Celtics. Instead, it looks like they are headed back to Boston for game 6, barring a late comeback. Good luck trying to win at the TD Garden in Game 6. That place will be nuts. This series is going to go 7.

The Knicks will never recover if they blow this series.

Well, when Jeff green is channeling ray Allen, it's just not your night.

Boston was just on fire tonight. So many tough threes.

Jeff Green..WOW. The Perk for Green trade was a good trade for Boston. They would have beat Miami last year if they had him and Bradley.

If we're ever going to see a team come back from an 0-3 hole and win, it's going to be here. Boston is mentally tough and NY isn't.

I should have known better than to count the Celtics out over the weekend.

...so, Jordan Crawford did a lot of woofing in Carmelo's face after the buzzer sounded. Certainly had plenty of energy to, seeing as he was a DNP-CD....

JR Smith looks like such a fool right now. He gives Terry a cheap shot, gets suspended for it, says "who?" when asked about Terry, and then proceeds to play like complete crap while Terry lights the Knicks up.
