I'm thinking the Colts trade down unless someone really falls due to other teams reaching.

If they stand pat, I'd be ok with Margus Hunt. Have a 6'8" DE with athleticism....good lord. Who cares if he's a bit raw. He still has big time upside. I'd also be ok with a CB like Trufant or Rhodes.

I do not want a WR with a first rounder. I'd prefer trading back into the 2nd and taking Justin Hunter though.

Margus Hunt would make me angry not gonna lie he is the absolute bottom of the barraell for me in terms of pick 24.

Old and doesnt fit scheme IMO.

Thanks, I just don't get it, he does nothing for us, there are a bunch of guys with athleticism and size that are not in the NFL, let alone trying to come in at 25 years of age. Football has a lot to do with functional strength, football speed and instincts, and I am not quite sure that he possesses a large amount of those, he lacks functional strenght because he plays too high, it can be worked on but there are many people that just can not make that transition, football speed I think he has, but only in straight line situations, and his instincts suck besides blocking kicks at that he is good at, but other situations not so much, people hear size, athleticism and potential and they go crazy, that is good and all but you need production and he really has not shown that.

He will get ate up in the NFL
    Why so SERIOUS

Yeah it's stupid to even think about him as a 1st rounder just tape doesnt match up with it.

if he is taken round 1 it will be because of his workout warrior traits.

Hasn't it been proven time and time again that you can find mid-late round value on running backs? Why waste a first rounder on one? I'd be pissy if we spent a first rounder on Lacy.

You can say that about any position quite frankly. The colts do need a good power back in this system and I am not sure Ballard can last the entire season as the primary bell cow.

If we can find a good trading partner I would like to see us trade down get a 2nd and 3rd rounder and even try to squeeze a 5th/6th rounder if the team really wants our spot. If not I think getting BPA that is not a QB or TE.

Learned just now if you write "farts" on an espn message board, you get suspended for one day. Who knew?

Seems like a solid player, fairly safe pick. Already found the guy on facebook, he's already married and has a huge dog that doesn't appear to be pottytrained. Oh, the internet.

I didn't expect this pick. I am watching the draft online and one of the analyst kept comparing Werner to Paul Kruger which didn't really excite me. Don't get me wrong Kruger has turned into a nice player but not the type of player to get you excited with a first round pick in such a deep draft.

Even with that in mind i'm sure Werner turns out to be a good fit for the Colts. I trust Grigson and Pagano can pick a good player 24 picks into such a deep draft.

Kruger has better hands than Werner right now but that could change. They both have good fakes and Werner excels at speed rushing and he is more disciplined than Kruger IMO.

He is a all around good player. He lead the nation in in yard accumulated on tackles behind the line of scimmage and he is just a junior with only 5 years of football experience.
