We shot 37%, they hit 13 threes, and our two centers got into foul trouble. Our two best offensive weapons combined to go 10 for 33, and the Lakers shot 23 more free throws than us. We played really, really poorly and lost by six points. I wouldn't panic about this loss. I am, however, starting to worry about the growing trend of sloppy play and slow, iso-heavy offense. We can and have played much better.

Off to see a series and try to forget about it and have a laugh. Archer might be a good bet.
I'll be doing something similar and watch some anime.

I am just glad that we get back on the horse tomorrow so we can move on.

Now I get to hear from all my LA based laker fans about this for, oh, EVER.

We were as mentally tough as used toilet paper tonight, and we HAVE to fix it if we want to be a true playoff threat. Pure and simple.
I spent 16 years in LA.... I feel your pain in dealing with all those Laker "fans".

    I'm not trolling man.

We dont have a guy who can create, it really sucks which makes us one of the most turnover prone teams in the league.

Our bench is so weak, we're forcing PG to play 40+ minutes which is only going to make him tired. We wouldn't be a top 5 team in the West IMO.
Lance can create for himself or others.....but when he's on the floor with PG, GH, West or even DJ.....he often defers to them allowing the offense to flow through them...instead of letting Lance try to create for others.
Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

I have to put a lot of the blame for this loss on Vogel. Howard picked up his fourth foul early in the 2nd half. Vogel should have attacked him relentlessly to get that fifth foul and force him to the bench. Instead Howard was able to play the entire 2nd half and pretty much dominated. This game was totally dictated by fouls. D'Antoni took a gamble keeping Howard in after that early 4th and we didn't make them pay for it.

Also the roar from the crowd as the Laker's walked off the PACERS floor victorious was sickening.

    TROLLING??

They are expressing an opinion that has some validity to it. Since when is that trolling? Or is the word trolling used like the word hate where anything deemed negative is trolling or hate?

Lance could do that if he could hold on to the fscking basketball. He gets no pass tonight.

Not wanting to start some stupid argument here but I think you forgot that Kobe didn't play much and Howard got in foul trouble too.

I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again: I think the lack of fan support has negatively affected this team's performance in a number of games this season. Moreover, I think the fans can influence the officiating, and by not packing the house (or even coming close) with Pacers supporters, we're really losing out.

George, you know how you bring fans back to the fieldhouse? Lose to a Lakers team without Kobe and Pau. Blowing a lead and losing to a Rondo-less Celtics team helps too. If you could do both at home, that's be great too.

Exactly. At the very least George your teams could WIN those games and send the bandwagoners home sad.

I thought the refs again cost us the game. We played well enough to win. Dwight Howard had at least 8 fouls tonight, including his 3 pt play where he elbowed Roy Hibbert. When is the NBA ever going to fix this superstar foul BS.

Please. They are grown *** men making millions of dollars. If they are going to let bandwagoners impact their level of play they don't belong in the NBA.

Don't forget losing to Brooklyn without Deron Williams. But yeah, the team should have been fired up by the crowd and stomped LA. You know play with an eff you attitude. Instead, they played soft

I said in the T-Wolves thread that "good teams beat good teams." The Pacers have a nice team, but not a good team. They have to beat good teams and at least end up being .500 against good teams to do well in the playoffs. The Pacers don't have a winning record against 4 of the #4 thru #8 playoff teams in the EC. That's sad!
