WOO George Hill looked great in his return, minus a two passes to the stands.

I feel like that was a dominating game, but they only won by 12. We were ahead in most every stat.

Great return game for GH. We got this win due to great passing and balanced scoring. 6 players reached double figure points and we had 24 assists to 9 turnovers.

It's great to see Roy having 7 blocks as well. I hope that his knee is ok and that bruise isn't very serious.

Nice return by Hill. He seemed to fit right in seamlessly. He seemed to bring the same efficient assertiveness he had in the preseason. Hopefully he and the team can build on that.

Also, another good game from Roy as well. Nice to see him playing well the last two games.

Great win! Pretty well rounded as well. I thought Solo got off to a rough start but played great after that. George Hill was also great.

George Hill might be our best player the rest of this year depending on how much DWest has left in the tank. He's a solid starting PG. Maybe not this year, but this team could probably squeak into the playoffs without PG.

We overcame poor performances by Miles and Stuckey. George Hill being back worked wonders for us.

Sadly I worked late and missed the game. Glad to see Hill return so strong and it looks like Hibbert must have had a block party. Good to see him bring that kind of energy. This is a quality win.

Was GH aggressive enough for some?

I liked that we had a somewhat healthy 9 man rotation.

With a healthy 9 man rotation, we have enough 3pt shooting that there isn't a real need to see Copeland and Rudez out on the floor.

It's not great....but I love the GH/Watson/Miles/Solo/Stuckey 5 man PG/SG/SF rotation. They all complement each other.

I like that Lavoy got some more burn than Scola in the frontcourt rotation. Scola has been doing a good job on offense....but I'd have no problem with more Lavoy over Scola.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

Think Lavoy Luis could become based off matchups/hot hand. I think flexibility to our benefit. Both have played well during injury plague. Nice win and all around performance.

I could seriously see Lavoy being our replacement for West.

I guess I can live with the "hot hand" when it comes to the backup PF spot once Mahinmi gets back, but I'm guessing that Lavoy is the odd man out.

I like Scola's offense, but I really LOVE the rebounding/defense potential of a Frontcourt backup unit of Lavoy/Mahinmi. I wouldn't run any "back to the basket" plays for Lavoy, but I'd want to run some plays for Lavoy where he is left open and can take a mid-range jumpshot....I'd even live with him just scoring based off of offensive rebounds and hustle ( kind of like what Foster did ).

Restrain your enthusiasm, please. Lavoy is really playing well, but he is not the scorer the Pacers need. They have enough trouble getting points without replacing West with a guy scoring half his PPG.

I'd rather have him as our future backup PF playing a solid and consistent 20 mpg. I think that he doesn't have the scoring touch to be a reliable Starting PF.....but as a backup PF and an "Emergency" Starting PF ( as needed )? Yeah...I think he'd fit that role perfectly.

Regardless, I just want to see him signed to a long-term deal cuz I want to see him set screens while flattening those that run into Lavoy "The Wall" Allen for the next 3 seasons.

No the guy we replace West's scoring with is a guy by the name of Paul George... We don't need a great scorer at the PF spot, and Lavoy could easily be a 12/10 or 12/9 guy for us.

    "could" being the magic word.

So far, I see Lavoy as more of a Jeff Foster than anything else.

Well what PF do you see out there that we can get that would be a for sure thing to give us exactly what West does or more?

If you want to maximize Lavoy's value, you keep him as your first big off the bench. Our poor mans Taj Gibson if you will. But barring major scoring acquisitions to the roster Lavoy is not our starting PF. At least not of we want to contend again

I think his offense is underrated, he is averaging about 12 ppg per 36 right now, and I think he could easily average more if he were asked to focus more on his offense. His offensive rebounding would also net quite a few points a night that he wouldn't get credit for.

If I controlled the universe, I would get Al Harford . I'm cool with Taj Gibson too. Unfortunately I am not and they are on contracts, so the only way is through the draft.

I have no problem going through the draft, and maybe I overrate Lavoy.... But I can easily see him being a 13/10 guy if he were to play starters minutes.
