Screaming at my TV for the Pacers to go 2 for 1 in the last 40 seconds, but of course we fail miserably at managing endgame situations yet again. So frustrating. First 3 quarters were reasonably played. Fourth was a head-shaker throwing up bricks without much attempt to get in the paint and to the foul line.

Wish we played better. Celtics deserve the win though.
The worst is that we don't even TRY to go 2 for 1. We walk the ball up court and then get into whatever the **** kind of set that was. Completely inexcusable clock management. George had a better shot of hitting a pull three than Roy's jumper AND we would have had to time to get a shot.

If the Pacers don't come up with a less predictable offense at the end of games they are not going to win s***, I have been saying forever that smart teams know how to stop the Hill/West pick and roll play, today was a good example.

Am I the only one who is wondering why there was a no-call on the last second pass to PG for the potential tie when that's the exact same contact and foul that lost us the game in Denver?
We didn't deserve to get a win on such a call. Denver didn't deserve to get such a win either. Unfortunately, they did.

In any case, horrible way to lose. I'm really sad

I'll probably go and watch some Fairy Tail or Soul Eater to cheer myself up.

It was the wrong call against Denver and it would have been wrong if they called it here.

I am not blaming the loss on the refs, let me qualify this by saying that.

But it was DEFINITELY the wrong call in Denver, long established.

I am not so sure it wasn't here as well.

Paul was trying to go up in the air and Pierce moved backwards and cut beneath him in a game-tying situation.

How is that not worthy of an attempt to go to the line?

It's a moot point, we screwed ourselves LONG before the 0.5 seconds remaining mark.

I am just saying, I think that a foul was warranted.

This might be random, but I can't help but notice that we are either TERRIBLE at setting picks, or what I believe in my opinion is the actual issue...our players have no idea how to use them, AT ALL. None the less what an awful display of basketball at the end.

colossal collapse there. probably the most disappointing loss this season for me.
boston is beyond ancient with several guys out and losing to these clowns is just embarrassing.
    unacceptable.

And I know Boston is missing Rondo but Bradley is not an scrub either, the guy is similar to Hill without the 3 point shooting, Boston is going to be a hard team to beat on the playoffs I don't want to see them.

If we were the same team with the Celtics ability to execute in end of game situations, we would be a true contender in my mind. Not to mention we would probably have a 7 or 8 game better record.

Really hard to find a worse feeling than the Celtics having a chance to win on your home court, and you not getting a chance to respond.

Bradley is far from a scrub. He is a very interesting player. Lee is also a good defender. Their back court is better defensively without Rondo.

Still do not understand why West thought doubling KG and letting his man have a free lane to the bucket was the right move

Too bad we can't be on National TV every game. Still undefeated this year.
This is good right? aren't all the playoff games are on national TV?

This is why I'm not sold on matching up against Boston in the first round. They always give us problems. Same thing could be said with ATL, BKN. Those are teams we're having problems with and so far, I'm not quite positive we have them figured out. This is a heartbreaker for sure. We did good in the 1st quarter but never really built up on it. Maybe spending time figuring these teams out the rest of the season would do wonders. I expect this to be another wake up call for the whole team though, they seem to respond pretty well to these situations and I hope they maintain that coming into the playoffs since there's so little room for mistakes when that time of the year comes.

The common theme is that those teams have Centers that can hit the jumper and thus force Hibbert leave the paint.

I am saying we have been the recipients of 2 very erroneous calls in the same situation.

We were called for a foul in Denver. Ok fine, I disagree but the precedent has been set regardless.

We are the victim of a NO call in the same situation on our home floor. The precedent has been ignored and the players aren't given a chance to extend the game.

Again, there are MANY reasons besides that play that resulted in this loss.

But I think we should have had an opportunity to take it to OT.

More than anything, we did a lot to beat ourselves. We clean up some things, this game is ours. The sky is not falling.

by far the worst loss of the season that one hurt watching. I stood there stunned at the Field house after just gave the game away.

I dont get why we went away from posting up smaller guys and started chucking bad shots terrible offense in the 4th. The defense was even worse. Paul should of switched the last play and Hill and Lance should of pre rotated and that Jeff Green layup doesnt happen huge mental mistakes.

My man, I am not quite sure why you feel obligated to take exception to EVERY single thing I point out in post-game threads?

But listen: The fact of the matter is, there have been 2 times this year where we've had suspect CALLS/NOCALLS on last second, inbounds plays this year.

Both times we were the team that suffered as a result of those CALLS/NOCALLS.

    That frustrates me.

Sorry if that's wrong or offensive to some.
