Paul's been REALLY bad lately.
let me guess that wasn't a choke either? how many games have we lost this year with an amount of awe-inspiring stupidity
Toughest loss of the season.
pacers looked dead tired late in the game. I understand why frank brought the starters back so early in the 4th, but IMO it cost us the game late. Also give the Celtics defense a lot of credit - very good defense, second game this year where they took us out of what we wanted to do

We can blame the game on missing 3's if we want but we can't ignore the fact that Boston completely shut down everything we wanted in the 4th quarter. Hill just made two tough threes, a fastbreak dunk, and an actual good set which got George open. That aside, none of our post players could get into position, while Hill and PG couldn't penetrate off the dribble at all.
Awful, just awful execution in the end of the game, with some ominous signs.
I just posted in the game thread that their b-ball IQ collectively got lowered in the 2nd half. It was sooooo bad, I felt it needed to be reiterated here.
In the end, this game wont matter. Still tough to swallow though.
Disappointing and pathetic at the end. We didn't score a single point in the last 4 minutes.
You **** up once, you lose two teeth
Inexcusable loss. Boston is an old team playing a back to back and they made all the crucial clutch plays down the stretch.
They are a better team than us right now even though the record is worse. They know how to get it done when it counts.
Vogel got schooled by Doc tonight.
Inexcusable effort and execution down the stretch.
Terrible, terrible loss.
Am I the only one who is wondering why there was a no-call on the last second pass to PG for the potential tie when that's the exact same contact and foul that lost us the game in Denver?
Screaming at my TV for the Pacers to go 2 for 1 in the last 40 seconds, but of course we fail miserably at managing endgame situations yet again. So frustrating. First 3 quarters were reasonably played. Fourth was a head-shaker throwing up bricks without much attempt to get in the paint and to the foul line.
Wish we played better. Celtics deserve the win though.
How about a timeout at anytime there? Coach? Frank? Anybody?
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.
Pathetic game management, pathetic shot selection, pathetic give away loss.
"Just look at the flowers ........ BANG"
Games like this show that the Pacers are still not ready for primetime. They can't drop games like this and be the #2 seed.
Love Frank, but Doc draws up a masterful play and all we have is a lob to a flat footed PG. If you're gonna lob, run the guy off a screen or something!
I'm going to go ahead and say I hope the end up in the opposite bracket come playoff time, because they would beat us in a 7 game series.
This one is basically on West. 2 turnovers, 0-1 FG, 2 bad defensive plays...all in 90 seconds.
He's incredible. He wasn't tonight. This was a major choke job, but you have to move on to the next one.
Also, why even go for the lob? There's no way they were going to execute that. Should have just went for a catch and shoot from above the arc.
Even more frustrating seeing Paul Pierce smiling and saying "it's over" before the Celtic's play and then being right.
