    Default The Anime thread

I don't know if anyone here is interested in Anime but I've been watching more and more lately. Actually, there is a poster that has Kakashi as his avatar so I know that at least another person watches Anime in this site

Anyway, in this thread you can post any thing Anime. You can ask for suggestions, you can suggest anime you like to other people, you can ask about OSTs etc etc.

Personally, I recently finished Sword Art Online and Accel World. I enjoyed them both. I'm watching Naruto, Fairy Tail and Zetsuen no Tempest that are still ongoing and more often than not cannot wait 'till it's Thursday for the new episodes to come out

By the way, I just picked up Kuroko no Basket which will appeal to some people in this forum since it's basketball related. I like it.

In any case, is anyone else interested in Anime or is it just me?

I actually think somewhere in the Market Square archives there exists an Anime thread. Not sure where it is, but I remember seeing one before, I believe.

    I like anime.

Haven't been watching much recently. Mostly been reading manga. Naruto and Bleach. I can see why Bleach has lost a lot of people, but I still like it. Naruto on the other hand has been pretty bad for awhile. I'm just reading so I can get to the end now since I've put so much time into it.

Manga/Anime has a huge problem where they start off so great, the middle stays pretty good, but the endings are horrible pieces of crap.

Cowboy Bebop - best anime. wish they would bring this series back.
Avatar the Last Airbender - not anime persay, but highly recommended
Death Note - pretty awesome (horrible ending)
Full Metal - is pretty good too
Inuyasha - was decent (read the manga to the end, but have only seen about half of the anime episodes)
Soul Eater - Meh Couln't really get into this one
Samurai Champloo - started this. need to finish. pretty good
Mushi-shi - just some short stories. quit watching after about 10 of them.
Basilisk - watched just one episode. need to watch more.
Trigun - again, started off great, then was all downhill.
One Piece - this might be good, but I seriously hate the artwork. It's really hard for me to look past that.

I've been meaning to get to Fairy Tale. Sword Art Online is on my list now too. Thanks.

Anyone know if Berserk or Claymore are any good? Claymore seems to remind me of Inuyasha a little bit from what I've seen.

A friend of mine has seen Berserk and he told him it's very good. I want to start it but I'm constantly forgetting. I've heard good things about Claymore around the net but none of my friends have actually seen it.

Also, I want to pick up Inuyasha at some point as well but it's so damn big that I feel that it will leave me no time for Fairy Tail

Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.
