Or that the Jazz didn't move any of their bigs. Again.
Utah is probably gambling on getting some picks before the draft.

I seriously think Orlando trolled the whole trade deadline day. Everyone was waiting to see what deal they'd do and then chain react from that, but in the end they waited for too long and took some meh deal from Milwaukee.
I seriously love what the Magic are doing. That team is moving in the right direction love this trade for them. They get two long term assets for a guy they were going to let walk. I like this package much better than a late 1st and an expring give credit to them for waiting out the market.

I dont know who there GM is but I really like what he has done since taking over.

Rob Hennigan is the general manager of the Orlando Magic. Hired at age 30, he is the youngest GM in the NBA.[1]
Hennigan is a native of Worcester, Massachusetts. He graduated from Emerson College in 2004 with a degree in broadcast journalism. At Emerson, he was a Division III All-American, Academic All-American, and the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Year for three seasons. He graduated Emerson as its all-time leading scorer.[2] After college, he spent four years working for the San Antonio Spurs and another four years working for the Oklahoma City Thunder before taking the GM position at Orlando in 2012.[3]

Actually....it was Atlanta that trolled the entire trade deadline.

Sooo, they trade for a guy that makes more money and then dump him? They know they still have to pay him right? Doing Charlotte a favor I guess.

I thought the new CBA didn't allow for sign and trades?

It does but the player can't get the higher raises and tax teams can't do it.

I wonder if Warrick already got a huge chunk of his salary and/or if Charlotte sent some cash in the deal.

Yeah, and the thing is, they can't sign-and-trade either Jefferson or Millsap before the draft now... they'll both be free agents and the draft occurs before free agency starts. Big head-scratcher to me, considering how valuable they both seemed as trading chips. But I guess if they didn't get an offer they liked, they can just let them walk.

I guess I lost track of the original post to answer the second post.

We'll see what they do. Maybe cap space is better than whatever they were offered, or maybe they want to re-sign someone.

Saw somewhere a trade exception was used, and Magic gained a 3.1 mil exception.

This is interesting, he thinks Dallas traded for Morrow to help reel in Dwight Howard.

Mavericks: Sure, on the surface, picking up 3-point specialist Anthony Morrow for defensive-minded guard Dahntay Jones doesn’t sound like much. But then SheridanHoops.com reminded us of this Dwight Howard interview in Russia when he named Morrow as one of a handful of players he’d like to have as a teammate.

Will the Hawks have the capspace to sign both Josh Smith AND Dwight to MAX level contracts in the offseason?

I find it entirely laughable that a team would trade for freaking Anthony Morrow in the hopes of tipping the scales at signing Dwight Howard. That's classic.

I was thinking about it the other day. Forget contracts, how much they'd like Indy, all the superfluous stuff. How many guys are there you'd trade PG for? Obviously Lebron and Durant, I would for Irving, Harden. Maybe Griffin.
Lebron and Wade - Mr. & Mrs. Dikhead
    CP3 - cousin Dikhead
Griffin - Dikhead's one trick pony.
Durant - I like Paul's all around game better then Durant's spot up shooting.
Harden - no defense, I'd rather have Paul.
Rose - is that the little kid that has a smart mouth up north? I heard he gets it honest from the Dikhead family.
Irving - It's a push. I'd trade the whole team, except Paul. I would love a Paul and Irving duo.

Bottom line, I want this team to hit everyone in the mouth all the way to holding the NBA Championship Trophy in the air.

They have $21 mil locked up and have to re-sign Teague.....whereas he's a RFA. What would be the MAX offer for both Dwight and JSmoove?

But since Durant's spot up shooting is only a very small part of Durant's all around game, I like Durant over PG and in fact everybody in the league but LeBron.

If we're talking skill wise ofc haha
