Wow I'd have to think long and hard about this one. Are either of these guys UFA or RFA?

No kidding, I love Danny but this is about as good a scenario you could ever hope if you have to part ways with him. We send him to a team where he can be the perimeter scoring threat and probably still make the playoffs and we address all our long term needs. This is way too good to be true.

Just found this video. I'm assuming this is where the Granger trade idea came from. Skip to about the 2:12 mark.

Doesn't look like it's a real rumor or anything.

What is this? Some made up trade? A rumor? Give us a link.

Either way, I really doubt Utah'd do that.

I think that is a trade I would have to do. It would sure up our bench even more, and give PG the reins to be as much of an offensive threat as he can without deferring to Granger. However, I honestly would be complete happy just getting Granger back too.

I think the Pacers would probably do this, but why would the Jazz?

Lol because unlike here, there are other teams that view Danny in a positive light. (green)

Also Favors gets some run at the PF spot, and they get a first round pick (something the Clips are reluctant to give up)

This trade makes absolutely no sense for Utah. Who started this rumor? Skip Bayless? Link?

Way too good to be true. And I'm a big Granger fan. Incredible trade for the Pacers financially, talent, PR, long-term...in every way. So it won't happen.

I want Danny back bad, but even I would do that. We would get a proven starter in milsap and potential in Gordon. Who knows if Danny will ever come back at even 80% of what he used to be. Sometimes people come back from injury and their nothing like they used to be and just get hurt again. It's scary. If a team offered me something like that I would take it and run and never look back.

That trade is a pipe dream that won't happen. Utah isn't going to do that trade unless more sweeter is added. Plus, I don't see Walsh having the brass to make the trade. He's a lets wait and see how things go type guy. He'll wait and see how the Pacers play with Granger b4 making a decision to do something.

As much as I want Danny to be here forever, that is a no-brainer pending contracts and everything. Wow, I think Gordon or Milsap alone would be close to fair for Granger given the injury.

I'd assume we would have to at least throw in Hansbrough in this situation.

This would be the decade's Gasol to Los Angeles in terms of a steal, except there isn't a Marc Gasol in this anywhere.

if clippers go for granger, it would be bledsoe + someone else to make salaries work. if lac wanted a backup pg we can send them dj. i read where clippers fans are growing tired of caron butler so add him in and salaries would be pretty close.

We cannot give them Granger + DJ + Hans. The salaries do not work.

If we were to include DJ + Hans ($19,613,865) they would have to cut $7,379,215 off their books. So, they would need to add Lamar Odom as well to make the salaries work.

However, Danny Granger for Bledsoe + Butler + Trey Thompkins would work.

I looked around a little and haven't seen anything else about this. Not that I think the two posters mentioning are lying, it's just not a rumor that's becoming widespread. I do know that Paul Millsap is one of the hottest names being mentioned in trade rumors, so something involving he and Danny sounds plausible.

Plausible in an ESPN makes **** up sort of way. Sure there could be talks, but ESPN saying anything about it has no value.

If getting Bledsoe and butler meant taking on odom for a year I would be all in for that deal while only losing granger

    Find the 10 differences

I still view Granger as the best offensive option of the package, so I still think it's good value for both teams. Wouldn't do it anymore though. We need the scoring and experience more than we need another very good allround wing who can score allright and Millsap is expiring and not that much needed with West here.
