    Default Pacers/Cavs

Just a thought I had last night during the ASG. What if this trade were to happen? It seems like it would make both teams a bit better, but there is no way it would ever happen. Thoughts?

    Indiana gets:
    Dion Waiters
    Kyrie Irving

    Cleveland gets:
    Paul George
    George Hill

There's no way the Cavs do it... Hill has no upside and George, with all his talent, has slim chances of ever being a top 10 player in the league - something Kyrie will most likely be, if he's not there yet
Oh, and I noticed you "threw it" Waiters as well... Then the value isn't even close

Uh why is it a sure thing Kyrie will end up better than Paul? Paul is the much better player right now. And really good wings are more valuable than really good point guards unless CP3 takes the Clipps to a title this year.

It would never happen, but if Cleveland offered Kyrie for Paul straight-up right now, would you do it?

yeah this draft does not do much for either team, and I think right now it actually makes us a little weaker, with that being said I doubt Cavs do it. Also I think PG has a good chance of being a top 10 player in this league.

Really right now which SF's do you rank ahead of him besides Lebron? Josh Smith maybe, but no others are really clear.

i wouldn't do it either. i'm attached to those guys at this point and attached to the playing style of this team.
i realize that we probably win this deal on talent / assets but this feels like trading young Reggie for Tim Hardaway. Something a good GM should strongly consider but i'd feel better passing for many reasons.

So I was tossing this around in my head, if Danny passes a physical this offseason does anyone think Cleveland might do Danny for their 1st round pick? I think they should be able to swallow his deal whole. There are a couple ways to play this, one Danny fills a big gap in the Cleveland line up at SF, if Danny can still shoot, he could be a great kick guy to Kyrie. PLus his contract being up next offseason leaves the Cavs a chance to go for you know who if they wish. Danny also gives Cleveland the chance to maybe sneak into the playoffs as the 7 or 8.

The Pacers do it to hopefully bring in some young cheap talent. Maybe at the 4.

Not sure they'd do it, but I would love that deal.

I'm sure they wouldn't do it. I would trade the whole team minus Paul for those two, but Cavs wouldn't do that as well. Kyrie not going anywhere.

    Is this serious?

    Carmelo Anthony?
    Kevin Durant?
