If you get to thinkin’ you’re a person of some influence, try orderin’ somebody else’s dog around..
I honestly haven't kept track of him at all since he came back. Has he been any good?
He's now struggling with back problems.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.
- Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
- Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
- Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.
Enjoy your time at PD!
I feel for the guy so talented just cant stay healthy pretty sad.

It's pretty common for back problems to follow knee problems. You change the way you walk/run/etc. when your knees hurt and it messes with your back.
It's too bad he signed a max. He's a good enough player to take a risk on, but not with a max deal.
That back injury is not a big deal that happens to players that are off for that long, EJ is still not 100% but he still looks better than a lot of players in the league.
How about we link the initial article that Amick wrote. It was a long read, but pretty good read and read it during English yesterday lol. It would be a shame if he doesn't get credit.
No TJ he hasn't been that good he doesn't look fully healthy to me. I would say he looks 60% he needs to get his legs back and back in game shape, but he looks off some nights in terms of movement looks different from his Clipper days and brief play last year.

I wouldn't want to give up anyone that the Hornets would want for him.
At the rate Eric is going, he will always be available till that contract expires. Damn shame.

It's hard to say as stupid as some GM's are, but until he proves himself healthy for a full season I don't think he has a lot trade value with that contract.
He makes more then Granger now and even if we were to trade Granger for him his salary is too high to be able to keep West and PG. I wouldn't want to risk losing PG over an often injured Gordon.
Somebody break out the 'days since gordon trade thread' graphic.....
"He's a strong physical presence out there on both ends of the court. He's a man. There's a reason he was an All-Star." -- Vogel on David West
I think this belongs here.
I was just thinking the other day - man, it's been too long since we had an Eric Gordon thread.

Michael Pina, Red94: "There are so many different ways the Pacers can beat you. They have an All-Star scoring threat, imposing figures on the front line, steady point guard play, and most importantly, a defense that'll choke the life out of just about every offense that crosses its path."
