We talk about his offense, but how about that clutch block?
i dont know Boozers stat line but im certain DWEST outplayed him. what if the bulls put Noah on DWEST. Hibbs is awful offensively. this game tonight was unbelievable. Love Hibbs but im not blind homer fan here. He was a blackhole. and it affected his D tonight.

if Noah played i think Hibbert would have played better. just a hunch tho and certainly no excuse for his play tonight. unacceptable. we shoulda dominated the Bulls by 20. Granger will be ready to play soon and I believe the question of how to keep Lances minutes is resolved by reducing Hibb. Granger can play PF and I know West/Mahinmi combo can man the middle. Hibberts minutes may go down to 24 to keep Lance in the game longer. guess it depends alot on mathups.

I dont get what is up with Hibbert at all. I mean. I see it. I am sure many other pacer fans do to. He is very awkward. NONE of us on here are 7'2 270+ so its easy for us all to find reason to criticize because HIBBS is a MAX player. I believe maybe the $$$ is affecting his game. no other excuses are valid except the wrist thing. ?!?!

Hibbert has to domiante tonight. im dissapointed. vs the Bulls. He needs to own them wiht no NOAH. Coach Vogel is right he needs to dunk everthing to be aggressive. sorry but that one play where hibbs held the ball for 8 seconds, then dribbled to the lane.. and threw up some fn garbage i see on recreation ball every week i play thats horseh t s. what was that . and then the awesome dunk George tried to throw down.. hibbs gets the rebound and just chucks up some more fkn garbage. what the .

    POWER DRIBBLE ONE TIME HIBBERT!!!

Would love the forum's thoughts on Beleneli. How much of his outburst are we blaming on Lance? It feels like he was hitting from everywhere, but I haven't seen enough of him to know if those are shots he normally hits.
My feeling was "Lance giveth, Lance taketh." Lots of "yes yes yes no no no yes!" when he plays.

What those tips do is stuff Roy's stats in rebounds. See, instead of only having 3 rebounds, he has 9 because after the first touch, he touched it 2 more times for a total of 3. He did this 3 different times for 9 rebounds. He is a self stat stuffer.

Roy " Self Stat Stuffer" Hibbert

Well, it sounds better then your post anyways.
So an opponent's defensive rebound is better than a failed 2nd chance opportunity for our team? Because that's basically what I was saying. Obviously it's better if he makes them, but his tips are conducive to our style of play whether he makes them or not.

Also, he doesn't average 8 or 9 offensive rebounds per game. He had 5 offensive rebounds tonight, and that was spread out over 3 different possessions. And that's not counting the tip out to Paul George he had, which was credited to PG, and led to that FT line jumper with a few minutes to go.

Pacers running a lot more these last 3games.. Turning it over less.. D west on a mission to prove he is an allstar... Lance is looking like he will be a star as well..and ohh yea Roy still sucks...
DWEST is cool with not being an all-star. itw was obviousl from his postgame interview. he stated he is going to visit family, and i believe do a littble fishing. I hope MR. DWEST stays here. He seems like an Indiana guy to me. I would deal Hibbert to make certain MR. WEST retires a Pacer.

give me a break. dont buy into these #'s. Roy was playing with the starters. Ian playing with Sam Young. Roy was bad tonight. dare i say it.

He is a really streaky scorer he will have a game like this and then 5+ bad games. It happens Lances defense wasn't great but it wasn't awful once he cleaned it up.

Not gonna lie I am scared to death about when Danny comes back. I love this starting 5 really one of my favorite 5 man units we have ever had everyone plays together so well. I just hope when Danny comes back to start we still see this unit a lot I really do love our starting 5.

He hits A LOT of random shots (well not random, he is a very good scorer and a shooter) remember, he was the one that put the nail on the coffin against the Boston Celtic's game on a VERY ugly one legged fadeaway (more of a desperation shot falling down)

I don't doubt that but Roy missing bunnies are like turnovers, and they are hurting this team.

What "IF" Granger comes back hungry and fits right in.

    * Legs on ESPN is giving us some run. "PACERS ARE LEGIT"

    Hill, Lance, George, Granger, West/Mahinmi/Hibbert

Coach Vogel would have an opportunity to play JOB ball. I could see us rolling with this in the playoffs.

Interesting fact Caught it at the end of the game:

The Bulls have won 41 straight games when scoring more 100+ points in a game.......the streak ended tonight.

Excellent win by the Pacers tonight but I just hate playing the Hawks. I'm hoping we can get them figured out and come out with a win tomorrow night but we shall see.

I'll echo everyone's feeling on Roy. I thought he would start playing better, but we are 50 games in it's more than just a slump. He's always been up and down but this is getting really bad. To his credit he is still playing hard and playing pretty good D.

I just don't get how a guy that big, with historically good touch, getting the kinda shots he gets can shoot .416, that's just turrible. He needs to be around 50% at least. 12 & 8 with 3 blocks and solid D, I'd be real happy, I don't think that's asking to much.

Good game. Good win. Division leaders. Yay

On to the next game now. Just beat the Hawks. We cannot allow them to beat us at home.

Do that and I would understand a loss in Philly due to back-to-back-to-back.

Of course, I would be elated if we were to win all 3 of them

But let's not be greedy. Just win tommorow

Damn those Bulls are tough. Without Noah and Rose, and a one foot Beleneli still pushed us to our limit. (Without Granger ofc). Still though, I dont care who they had playing, I'm confident Tom Thib_____ could play Adam Morrison, Scalabrine, Me, Benny the Bull, and Gerald Green for 48 minutes and still put up a hell of a fight. Any win against this team is a good win.
They were without Hinrich too. I liked the win, but damn the Bulls were missing damn near the entire starting line-up... still gave us a game.

Boozer had 10 points and 5 boards. He shot 4/12 from the field (2/2 from the line) and also had 2 turnovers. He was awful. I have him on my ESPN fantasy team and have gave me 12.5 fantasy points.

Luckily, I know my Pacers and I didn't include him in my line up. I opted to fill in the roster spot with Marreese Speights instead

Heaven forbid our center be a defensive specialist. He is the true anchor of this team , Paul George may be the sizzle but Roy is still the steak. He is the reason we are the best defensive team in the league. Everything starts with him. Don"t believe me, feel free to ask any maverick fan what they think of the chandler situation. One player can change a culture and Hibbert has. We pair him with 4 scorers at all times. He does not need to score a point to be a gold mine to this team. People way underestimate the grit and hustle players and Hibbert is great at it. I don't see a problem with his fg% as its typically above the opposing teams.

Marco can shoot. Lance left him shockingly open several times. He shouldn't have done that.
