I think is fair to compare Villanueva to Murphy.

I don't see why they can't play Drummond more minutes at the expense of Maxiell. I guess that KStat would have to clarify if the Pistons think that Drummond makes too many mistakes to warrant more consistent playing time....or if Maxiell is the veteran anchor that they need in the frontcourt.
I know kstat wants to see more of Drummond and less of Maxiell. I really was looking forward to seeing Drummond tonight, but he impressed me from the neck down and was unimpressive from the neck up. i.e. good athlete, so-so basketball player.

The question more is whether he makes enough mistakes to not warrant more consistent playing time.

Just got back from the game. The Pistons played so bad they made Roy Hibbert look like an all-star.

An interesting thing that people who watched the game on TV didn't see. Some woman turned down two free tickets to Friday's game against Miami for what ended up being a David West autographed jersey. Just incredible. Some guy in front of her snatched them up immediately when offered.

It was bizarrely entertaining, especially with G2 yelling for her to take the tickets and run like hell!

Im pretty sure the MC told her they were upper level tickets. I would have turned them down as well (already got my tix). If its deal or no deal and the offer on the table is a pair of $25 seats. You don't take that deal. She got the better prize.

Drummond is a project player, and you want to bring him along slowly. Don't want to throw him to the wolves and shatter his confidence. Detroit didn't draft him to be a factor this season, or even next. Years 3 and 4 of his career is when Detroit wants him to really be productive

F Lebron James. I think most should feel honored to possess an autographed DWest jersey. You can always buy tickets to a Miami game. You don't often get an opportunity at an autographed DWest jersey.

Lance was amazing tonight. He made a bunch of electrifying passes, and he was just super aggressive driving it into the paint. I wouldn't be surprised to see him taking over the Point soon if Granger has any set backs. Slide Hill to the 2 spot. My only criticism of him tonight was that he becomes incredibly unfocused once he give up the ball. Sort just turns his back on the play. But he was super gassed there in the 4th.

Poor Gerald Green, couldn't even get a shot off in the garbage minutes. He was almost froze out of the offense.

PG is gonna have to play lot better on Friday.

I'm looking for Granger to return Friday the 8th against Toronto.

He needs to stop staring down the refs every time he doesn't get a call. Somebody needs to beat into his head that you don't stop until the whistle blows. If he looking for respect from the refs then he has to realize that giving them the death stare isn't going get him there.

Frank's job is to win games, unless he's told otherwise by management. Unless Drummond shows more than he did tonight, his playing more isn't going to help. Drummond has nice athletic talent set, but he has very little in the way of BB skills.
Andre Drummond brings A LOT more winning than Jason Maxiel.

That was one of the great Pacer moments, they were playing 'Let's Make a Deal, when they asked he if she wanted to trade the jersey for what was in the playmate's box.

That's what people keep telling me. Didn't see much of that from Drummond tonight. To be fair, didn't see that much from Maxiel either. But Maxiel at least looked like he knew what he was doing and where he was supposed to be. Drummond looked big and strong and fast, but, for lack of a better word, unaware.

You know this may be the one time in life where the comparison might be unfair to Troy Murphy.

So, Granger should be coming back soon no?
I'm starting to think it'll be closer to the end of February. He hasn't been cleared to do full practice yet, and he'll probably need to have gotten to that stage at least a week or so before he sees playing time.

Yeah, perhaps she already had tickets for Friday's game...

Maybe she already had tickets. Since I do, I probably would have taken the jersey myself. Depends on how much you value a jersey, too, I suppose.

The updates for Rose are much clearer and official. We get Granger news during the FSIN broadcast. Makes me nervous...
