    Default Rookie/Sophomore game roster selection

Does anybody else think that this game called the "Rising Stars Challenge" needs to be updated with regards to the roster selection? Currently, its Rookies vs Sophomores, and that is it. I think its stupid to only have rookies and second year players play in this game. Take a guy like Lance Stephenson, who is in his third year, but rarely got playing time during his first two seasons. This is essentially Lance's rookie season and he would be an NCAA senior right now had he stayed in school. Yes I am biased, but to me Lance defines "rising star" and should get a chance to play in this game of up and comers. Is Tyler Zeller really more of a "rising star" than Stephenson? Another 3rd year player that would qualify as a rising star would be Larry Sanders on Milwaukee.

i think the idea is to see the best of the newcomers to the league. Once you get beyond that, what becomes the dividing line between "young players" and perennial all-star snubs?

I like the rookie/sophomore game. Give each draft class two chances to play as a group. Gives them a group identity. Nice way to pick sides.

I also like the rookies and sophomores, but Jeremy Lin still got to play last year. The best thing that could have ever happened to this game though, was Chuck v Shaq

Because it was his second season.

Dang, you're right! I thought it was his third. I guess he was shuffled so much I forgot he was in the Paul draft.

They could update this game a little and make it players under 23 or 24 years old....Then you get the draft class, but you also get those youngsters in the league that left school early and are finally developing into what they should be....
