Wrong, Danny has been having knee issues for a while now.(since college)
I know that Danny had some knee issues in college and that's why he fell in the draft but I cannot seem to find any online info about it.

Let's look how many games Granger plays each year:

    05 - 06: 78

    06 - 07: 82

    07 - 08: 80

    08 - 09: 67

    09 - 10: 62

    10 - 11: 79

    11 - 12: 62 (in a 66 game season)

So, it's fairly safe to say that Danny Granger has had a fairly healthy NBA career. The most games that he has missed in a season before this one was 20.

I don't get why Danny is considered damaged goods in this board lately.

Autonomy must return into the hands of the people.

They've been trying to trade him for the longest time. Add in that he's injured...just like Granger...and would likely return a few weeks before the trade deadline.....it's that much harder to trade him.

Are we back to this? I thought you'd been totally shut down on this line of thinking.

    Danny's career missed games: 4, 0, 2, 15, 20, 3, 4.

    Some "knee issues."

I bet I won't get an apology from you, who is stubborn again?

Here is an article from 2009.

    http://www.pacersdigest.com/showthre...-team-USA-camp

Now that his right knee and foot are almost fully healed, he expects to participate in the USA Basketball Men's National Team mini-camp July 22-25 in Las Vegas.

"I've been working it out, taking it slowly," Granger told The Associated Press on Wednesday. "I've made great strides to the point where I think I'm going to probably play in the USA camp."

Granger played limited minutes in the All-Star game because of a right knee injury, then missed 11 games with a torn tendon in his right foot. He averaged 28.4 points the final 15 games of the season, but said he was far from ideal health at the time. He rested for six to eight weeks after the season ended, and has only been in the gym the past few weeks.
    There you go.

edit: Here is another article from 2009:
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...020802407.html

    Monday, February 9, 2009
Indiana F Danny Granger vowed not to let his aching right knee keep him from playing in his first all-star game.
    http://www.pacejmiller.com/2009/01/3...grangers-knee/

Apparently, the knee has been bothering him for a while, bad enough to cause him to miss workouts during the summer. He also says he’s been icing the knee during timeouts as of late. This might explain why his shooting has been off for quite a few games now.

    August 2009

    http://www.indycornrows.com/2009/8/7...s-knee-earlier

Another item buzzing around in my inbox this morning was word that Danny Granger tweaked his knee playing in Albuqurque this week.

    Yikes!

Granger had his kids camp this week in New Mexico and supposedly dinged his knee while playing pick-up ball.

Scott Stiegler hosts a sports radio show on 770 KKOB in Albuqurque and the story began when Danny missed an appearance on his show Wednesday. I checked with Stiegler and he was kind enough to fill me in on some details.

Here's what Stiegler had to say:
Danny was scheduled to be in studio with me on Wednesday night. About an hour prior to the show his assistant, Chaz, called saying Danny wouldn't make it because he was at the doctor having his knee examined.

I went yesterday to record an interview at his camp. Danny told me he strained his MCL. He wasn't limping and didn't have any pain. He said Pacers doctors are aware of the injury.

First of all, I would love to have an assistant named, Chaz. How sweet would that be?

Seriously, though, the good news here is that a strained MCL at its worst requires rest and rehab so if Granger is not limping or feeling any pain then this may be the last we hear of the injury. The bad news is that these little drips and drabs of minor injury news in August is starting to drive me nuts

Raptors probably wanted a player that's already proven. I still don't like him that much, black hole. Including that big contract definitely is even worse. If they woulda just sucked one more season they woulda got the #1 pick and drafted ANDREW WIGGINS who is also from Toronto....Match made in heaven!

Memphis now has easily the best 4-5 rotation in the league.

Toronto probably looking at a bunch of lower playoff seed finishes and first round sweeps over the next two or three seasons. Colangelo will probably be extended. I feel bad for their fans.

Granger is damaged goods because he had a knee injury in college? WTF

If a tree falls in a forest, does it make a sound? If a player doesn't miss game time, does he have knee issues?

Player X could be blind in both eyes and be a double amputee to boot, and I wouldn't give a damn as long as he can still play at a high level.

Calderon's gonna miss Toronto. I know it's a business and they get paid well and all, but I wish more people'd consider what it means when a guy gets traded.

@AlexKennedyNBA: Why did the Memphis Grizzlies trade Rudy Gay now rather than waiting until the offseason? Here's an explanation: http://t.co/TsdaAwv8

Great article, I didn't know they had those issues.

Is he on the brink of tears because he's being traded from Toronto, or because he's being traded to Detroit? Toronto's a modern, clean, friendly, lovely city, and Detroit... well, Detroit's not, to be put it mildly. That's like going from driving a brand new Porsche, to driving a rusted-out 1978 Chevette with a trash bag taped over its busted out rear window.
