Default Pacers have RE-SIGNED Sam Young

    Mike Wells ‏@MikeWellsNBA
The Pacers have let McGuire go since his 2nd 10-day contract is up. They'll likely re-sign Sam Young within the next couple of days

You think he will get Green's minutes at the 3 or will he take away from OJ's time?

I apologize but this is driving me nuts. It is re-sign. Resign means to stop doing something

    Ok I feel better now.

Make up for it with an authentic Young jersey. Winner winner

I guess it's nice he knows the system, but what we really need besides Paul George is a wing that can score the ball.

Thrilled. I noticed on his Twitter he was asking about a good church in Indy and I think the LA Fitness over by Glendale, so obviously he wasn't in a hurry to leave Indy. Just a move to keep a full roster of available guys and maybe some saving for the Pacers (maybe?).

They could really use his defense when the playoffs hit. I know he wasn't killing it with his shooting, but he'd become more picky about the shots he would take and to me he had really identified his role with the team. I thought of all the new guys he found his way to his correct role the quickest.

I hope he has a good recovery and is able to get back up to speed by the end of FEB (if not before).

Welcome to my entire life. Welcome to my own personal torment.

Now if you guys could just start getting dominate/dominant correct, my blood pressure might move back towards normal.

I'm not surprised. Sam never left Indianapolis. In fact he was hanging around club level during the Miami game. Told some of our G2ers he'd be coming back.

Because sometimes I like watching the world burn.

(that, and I thought I had posted it here once, but mostly because I felt like watching the world.)

Boring roster move that doesn't help the 2nd unit at all.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

I like this, if only for the ten minutes he might be useful against the Heat in the playoffs. It's never a bad thing to have another defensive stopper.

    Boring roster move? Yes

Doesn't help the 2nd unit? No

He's replacing McGuire who was absolutely useless here so by virtue of that alone it is an improvement. However I'll grant you that it probably does not dramatically impact the team one way or the other.

Right now Danny and Paul are the only guys that defend the wing with any real level of skill. Unless you use Hill, but that means more DJA which just creates another defensive hole.

    Who's scoring on a bench of Lance/OJ/Young/Hansbrough/Mahinmi?

DJA and either Danny or Paul. Once Danny gets back, you won't be seeing much of OJ, Green, Young at the wings unless it is a specific need like defense or fouls or injury etc.

Boring move really does nothing major to help the team. Guess after Lance scoring a total of 2 points the last 2 games and Johnson going scoreless both nights as the first wing off the bench the Pacers better hope Green finds his shot soon.

Perhaps you should consider re-signing from your grammer school position. Their are a lot of people who have been very successful and much happier after changing they're career.......

Why the hell can't we sign Lebron James to a 10 day? Those guys are everywhere just waiting for a contract.

Ah, be nice! Even though I'm not a native speaker, the grammar does catch my eye sometimes. It doesn't bother me, but in my country it would be looked upon as strange when a foreigner has a better grasp of grammar than a native. Then again, it might be the hardest language in the world...
yay, we're going back to the play-offs!
