Worthy was worthy of his nickname. Like Reggie Miller, his numbers rose in the playoffs. But I am surprised he was named one of the top 50 of all time.

Bosh, who averaged 14ppg in the playoffs last year, does not place fear in anyone's heart. IIRC, we were hoping he would play instead of Udonis Haslem...but Bosh's soft abdomen sustained an injury so we had our work cut out. Maybe Haslem deserves consideration...lol.

I don't like it when people say that his numbers aren't as good as they could be because he is playing with James and Wade. Why not? Especially if he is a "hall of famer". I can understand his scoring being down a little, but I would expect a hall of fame caliber pf to up his rebounding (that is their problem right?) and shot blocking (is he not athletic enough to get over 2 a game?) in such a situation.

Bosh being an 8 time all star is because of two things.

1.) He played for a really bad Toronto team.

2.) He played at a time when big men were fairly watered down in the East until very recently. Now he gets voted in by the fans for no reason.

Bosh will definitely make the Fall of Fame. He put up big numbers in the first part of his career, now he's on a consistent title team with a lot of press in the middle part of his career. He'll end up somewhere as the main scorer again after the Miami guys part ways and continue to add to his stats and playoff resume.

The attention from the Miami teams pushes him over the top. I just assumed everyone accepted this, I didn't know it was even a debate. Kinda surprised that some people think he won't get in.

in 10 years, you are the first person I've ever seen suggest Bosh is a small forward.
Okay, can we agree he's a Soft forward, then?

He's not a "wing." I'll give you that.
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

A soft forward? Didn't chuck person pioneer that one?

Hall of fame? I was thinking more along the line of him being the janitor there after his career in the NBA.

all of u are criticizing bosh (dislike him as much as the most guy) but Paul George basically did the same thing when he said "I knew I would be an all star"

Um, no. Hall of Fame has a whole different weight to it that the all-star game. Similar words, completely different magnitude.

I think he is without any doubt. A lot less talent has made it in the HOF. And his teams before Miami was horrible. Not his fault.
Don't HOF'ers raise the level of play of those around them though?

Well, Paul is an all star. Bosh isn't in the HOF and isn't going to be in the HOF.

lol Bosh is a guaranteed HOF'er.
Find me on the internets @mattiecolin

    Read it and weep:

When George Hill is above 15% usage we won 73.5% of games. Below 15% usage we won 61.9%

He is the RuPaul of big men. But he is probably already a hall of famer.
    Oddly successful?
If games are won and lost on a calculator and piece of paper, then why do we bother to play them?

Tyler must be headed to the HOF as well. He's outscoring Bosh 9-4 tonight. West must be a top 5 player of all-time. Dude is unconscious tonight.

Seriously though, West is clearly the better player IMO.

Peck and I had this argument on the way home from the game. He somehow thinks Bosh is a HOF player. I countered with the fact that he is in his prime and is arguably not even a star anymore. He should not be on the Allstar team, and he is just a poor man's Lamarcus Aldridge. No way HOF play in their prime put up the numbers he does unless they are considered defensive superstar, which well, lol.

    Hall of Fame picture

That's a funny picture in more than 1 way...
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."
