Thread: Pacers DJ

  1. #1

    Default Pacers DJ

If you have been to the games you probably heard this guy... he calls himself "DJ Paul B" or something like that. I was a little amused at first, but after going to a third game it just got annoying... I guess my main question is: Why? . Does anyone else not like this guy?

Riiight - I'd rather hear more of the 1985 Adult Contemporary Soft Rock Jams that we play when he's not playing! That stuff really gets me going...

I'll admit I had mixed thoughts on it when he first started late last season, but I have grown to like him a lot he ads a lot to the game experience. And believe me I don't like a lot of extra distractions during the games, DJ Paul is a good addtion, and the music he plays is great.

Hey Dj Paul B are you going to be playing the Dec 22nd game? I am finally going to see a game at conseco that day(I live in NC now and haven't seen a home game since they were MSA). I'd love to hear what all the compliments are all about!

I normally do not like DJ's or extremely loud music. I did catch a playoff game last year (the infamous game 5 ECF) though and thought that PB777 added a lot to the atmosphere. How can you sit in your seat when he is doing his thing?

Thanks Sauce, that's what I try to do - play something for everyone thru the game.

Did anyone else besides me hate Boomer when he first came? I thought he was a mouse. Now, I love him. When DJ Paul B started, I was like what is this? Now, I don't like it when he is not there. He's part of the gig now, just like Boomer has become. I really appreciate him now and especially the younger (under 40) crowd likes him. The older crowd just sits on their asses and talks most of the game (most of them) that are in the lower level so who cares about them. If the Pacers had a stock analyst yelling insider tips the over 40 crowd in the lower level would be on their feet screaming.

He did a quick one once. Of course the PD people were the only ones who knew what he was talking about.
