Well, that dead horse is a zombie horse by now.

To be clear, I am all for trading Granger before the trade deadline IF some Team is willing to overpay for him while not impacting our 2013-2014 SalaryCap while getting back assets that will help us in the long and short term. My guess is that no one will be willing to overpay before this trade deadline....hence my willingness to simply live with the status quo and see how fun a ride we can have with our original Starting lineup. But come June/July......unless some miracle happens.....I would be more in favor of trading Granger to make more adjustments to the roster for the long term.
Hey, I get the financial concerns. But the whole "can Danny and Paul George play together" thing makes me laugh (mockingly).

    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Can't wait to get Danny back. I'm more concerned with how Chicago reacts to getting Rose back than I am about Miami. Known vs unknown I guess.

I don't know if this has been posted already but I don't think we should forget just what Danny brings to this team.

Nice! Is that workout footage from the rehab, or from before?

I think people forget how effective he's looked as recently as the pre-season.

I'm freaking pumped, I've loved having this guy on my team.

    God this was great.

My favorite part though was at the end when he hit that three pointer and ran to the locker room holding up his finger.

Oh if there was only some way for me to be able to hack Vnzla's computer and make this play on a loop.

Okay, that was a good one. Even I laughed because I just made a post in another thread saying how I wanted to get rid of the three point line.

It sucks when your own words come back to bite you in the @ss.

Not only that but you also loved the highlight video were he is pretty much shooting 3's and jumpers ala Ryan Anderson .... Oh the irony

I hope Danny still has the drive and spin to the finish move when he gets back. That is one of his signature plays.

Thank you for that. It's nice to be reminded. Speaking of which, it specifically reminds me of a big asset he brings: The ability to make contested jump shots. One thing that often gets overlooked when comparing good shooters is that some of them have better FG% but can only hit stand-still open jumpers, while others can hit contested shots, can shoot off the dribble, or both.

I don't know if this is his recent rehab footage or not, but I can imagine he is putting in similar work if it isn't.

Fun video. And I miss those awesome throwbacks almost as much as I miss Danny.

Just going off the shoes he's wearing I'm guessing it's from 2 years ago.

Yes, Quinn did. Brooke stressed it wasn't for long, but still.
It probably took Quinn five minutes to explain it.

I don't know where to post this info so I'm going to post it here.

@MikeWellsNBA: Danny Granger took part in a live half court scrimmage for the first time 2day. And before u ask there's still NO timetable for his return.

@ScottAgness: Danny Granger took part in his first live action in practice -- 20min in half-court. Then, he took PG's and Hill's money in their shoot-off.

Scrimmaging is better than full contact drills.

Hell yeah, looks like Granger has been able to at least shoot all year, hopefully this means he comes out on fire...

Hill and PG, you'll be there someday, but Granger's still the best shooter!

    Read it and weep:

When George Hill is above 15% usage we won 73.5% of games. Below 15% usage we won 61.9%

Danny not doing full contact yet isn't an issue. It isn't like with Rose, coming off a tear/needing to baby it. Danny is dealing with a fatigued tendon, it's more an issue of rest/conditioning than worrying about re-damaging it.

I'm pumped to have him back!
