New England clock operator trying to cheat by waiting to start the clock there. No way that play only took 3 seconds.

Can you imagine punting it away at the two minute warning and not even worrying about what's going to happen because you KNOW your defense won't let you down. What a luxury. Peyton never had that the entire time he was here.

So Joe Flacco['s team] beat Peyton Manning['s team] and Tom Brady['s team] on the road. He's elite. That'll be a narrative now.

Well I guess Luck probably won't be in the pro-bowl then, since amazingly Brady, Manning, and Schaub all didn't make it to the Super Bowl. Not that its a big deal or anything.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. Somewhere a 9 year old Pats fan is wondering if they are ever going to win a title in his lifetime...

Yep, he's elite. Outplayed them both. Gotta hand it to him.

Aqib Talib getting hurt might have cost the Pats a Super Bowl, bet nobody expected that. That Harbaugh Bowl is pretty cool though, whoever wins has the ultimate brother trump card.

As Derek Schultz said, if 12 months ago we were told the Colts went 11-5, Peyton would probably win an MVP, and Jim Caldwell'd be calling plays in the Super Bowl we'd have been pretty excited.

It's no accident that Bolden had all those jump balls after Talib went down. The most important defender was Talib and the most important offensive weapon was Gronowski, and without both the team was not good enough.

Gotta hand it to the Ravens, they beat up the Pats on the lines and were physical with receivers.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

I am curious if it was really just a terrible game for Brady or if he's starting to decline.

I'm definitely rooting for Jim in the Harbowl (Best SuperBowl nickname ever?). The 95' Steelers/Colts game still gives me a headache... That hail mary...

And the Adam Vinatieri rule stays alive another year.... Brady has never won a SB without him.... Neither has Peyton Manning.

Mark Sanchez did the same thing two years ago and what are we saying about him now?!

That being said Flacco is far better than Sanchez I say he's good not elite.

Really I see his window closed in two years. Wes is probably gone so we will see.

Much like Matt Ryan, Flacco plays with stud athletes at the WR position. It's not even fair when you can just throw it up and a guy can catch it like their receiving corp can Jones/White/Gonzales and Smith/Bolden can

That being said, I don't personally think either is elite

The Ravens appear to be a team of destiny this season.......

Bernard Pollard is really a Pats killer

Having home field for the conference championship didn't matter at all.

I'd be willing to bet, almost anything, that Brady will sit out the pro bowl. He'll have some kind of "minor injury".

    Suck. It. Brady.

    And Belicheat, too.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Its the first time since 2002 Raiders since the AFC will be represented by a QB not named Brady, Manning, or Roethlisberger.
