No one else posted anything, so thought I'd go back to my NFL game thread posting days and start this.

The Falcons are straight up dominating the 49ers right now. Did not see it going this way. If the 49ers don't stop the bleeding soon, this one could be over by halftime.

Glad the 49ers have made it a game. Falcons just came out firing and that crowd sure as hell helped them.

I think the 49ers at least have a chance against the Patriots in the Super Bowl, so I'm pulling for them. Nothing against the Falcons, though.

49ers slowing it down and starting to use their running game to beat up the Falcons. Longest drive they have had all game.

Although the way the Falcons are playing, they might have a chance against the Patriots.

So it's a toss-up for me, right now.

With the allegations against Crabtree, it's good to see him fail

Seeing the look on the owner of Atlanta's face was just depressing.

Damn. We've all been there, though.

They remind me of the early to mid 2000's Colts because all I hear is "a team so good in the regular season". They'll have their day. (I'm assuming they are going to lose)

Neither team is covering the tight ends. Gonzales and Vernon Davis are both having big days. Of course, they're both really really good, too.

Crabtree might have just cost a team a trip to the SB.

Even though its Championship Sunday it doesn't feel like it to me maybe because the Lance/Te'o stories have drowned the coverage of these games.

I hope ATL wins it all(they won't though) since they're the only team to have not won an SB in team history.

Falcons played way too slowly at end of game down 4. They kind of assumed they were going to score there, and were plotting how to leave the 49ers with little time on the clock and it backfired big time on them.

It almost would've honestly been better had they not called that Harry Douglas play a catch and punted away, they could've pinned them deep.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

New England clock operator trying to cheat by waiting to start the clock there. No way that play only took 3 seconds.

Ugh! Why couldn't you have gone to the SB last season SF?

I wanted the Falcons to win it all at least they've never won in franchise history.

Its probably for the best I think Ryan broke his collarbone.

Falcons made too many mistakes and were not able to score in the 2nd half. You've gotta give SF credit, their offense woke up. Kaep is a pretty darn good QB.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.
