I didn't get to watch this game, but it is extremely impressive that the Mike was full at the same time the BLF was. That's close to 30,000 people downtown on a Saturday for bball and soccer. This city is so rad.

7632 were officially at Victory Field for the Indians game.

We had a guy down in front of goal injured, and instead of kicking it out of bounds they continued to play and eventually scored a goal
Wow, well, they are from the same state as the Heat.

Then consider that Lucas Oil commonly draws 60,000.

I mean, that's because it can as it has the space for it...

It has a bigger fan base too.

But the fact that 3 major sporting events can play at the same time and 2 draw full crowds, that's pretty awesome

I agree... and it is impressive... but this is old hat for Indy. The Pacers and Colts seasons overlap... we have filled both stadiums simultaneously on a number of occasions. The NCAA tournament.... the 500...

It's a big time sports town.

That was a tough loss. I thought overall we played the better game, just had a terrible couple of minutes, and couldn't get another ball or two in the goal.

Norales fell apart at the end. We easily could have won if he kept it together.

Hyland, Ring, Mares, all played good games. I thought Frias and Kleberson were disappointing compared to how they've played this year. Spencer looked damn good when he came on though, and Corrado looked much improved.

This team keeps finding ways to score, but just can't keep the other team from scoring even more.

Just a bad spring season that needs to end. Hopefully July will bring better results.

Might not be winning, but I am quite enjoying it myself.

I'm enjoying going to the games a lot, but I want to see a winning team as well. The loans were a good move. The fullbacks are just not right though. I'm hoping this team will come back strong after the June break.

Picked up our first win! (Granted not in league play but in the tourney) 5-2 behind a hat trick from the new guy on loan!

Blake Smith was incredible. His first goal was beautiful. It's a bummer that he's not full time. I can see why Montreal fans were upset he was loaned and not starting for their club. He's a solid player.

Ouch. That one hurt. This team's weakness is the first and last 5 minutes, other than that they usually play very very solid.

I don't know why Estridge started. He's awful.

Also I really hate Billy Forbes and I love Kristian Nicht.

It isn't often that you don't lose a game while giving up 2 PKs, especially when you are down one man most of the second half. My live streaming screwed up and I didn't get to see the final goal, but it is good to see they came back. This team has the offense to compete, just not the defense.

Did any other team score in every game during the spring season?

Don't know how many people watched it, but the Indy Eleven lost 2-1 to the Columbus Crew yesterday on a PK in the 114th minute. In the first half they were obviously outmatched in my opinion. After they settled down they were holding their own, but you could feel it was just a matter of time before the Crew would score again. Things changed in the second half, a lot of thanks to a red card one of the Crew got in the 35th minute of the first half. (Personally I thought the ref was card happy) The Indy Eleven looked like the better team at that point, which they should have being up a man. They almost won it, but the second goal was waved off for offsides. If someone else watched the game, I didn't see the offsides did anyone else? In overtime I thought it was played pretty equally, mostly because both sides were exhausted. Which brings up a side note, I hate the 3 sub limit, especially when there is an overtime. If anything it hurts the game cause either players have to pace themselves during the game or they are exhausted by the end. It is a stupid rule. Eventually an Indy Eleven defender committed an idiotic foul in the box leading to an easy PK.

Man, still haven't made it over for a game yet. Gotta do that. Being in the middle of St. Lou and Indy, I'm happy that St. Lou is getting a team again, this one in USL-Pro. I'll be able to go either direction and watch some footy.
