Saying only over 40k is shorting it a little, we were less than 1,000 away from 50k. Although, yes it defiantly showed there is a market to be had. Really though the first season or two I would expect strong support, the question is sustaining good attendance beyond that point.
    Attendance was 41,983

It was pretty much an exhibition game, even this it's part of a "cup"
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

And the owner we have now doesn't have the goods to back it?
    I'd be pretty surprised.

41k tix sold. I really don't think that was the actual attendance though.

I must have heard the announcer wrong, sounded like 49 thousand to me.

From what I've read, there's less that 600 season ticket spots available. I've really debated buying season tickets even though I live 2 hours away. I will still try to make it to a game or two, but the interest is really great to see.

Indy Eleven's Twitter account just tweeted that they sold 50 tickets today and are down to about 500 left. That almost guarantees the Eleven will have the highest attendance in the NASL next year unless San Antonio picks it back up. Very impressive and I'm glad I already have my tix.

I am on the edge too. For me it is I don't know if I will have enough friends who will want to go, and be able to go. I know one person, but her work schedule doesn't seem to mesh well with having a lot of Saturday games. I know my sister would go, but I would want to get more than just two so we could bring friends.

Which is probably why, I would imagine, he leads the team in kick balls, and honestly wouldn't be surprised if he led the league in kick balls. Seems like he gets at least one a game, and a lot of times at least 2.

I'm hoping to make it over to a game this year. Went to the Blazers game on 2/7 and saw an Indy Eleven van in the parking garage next to BLF so I'm guessing they were there getting out the word.

7,000 season tickets seems well-received to me.

Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I think they actually limited the season tix to 7000 so that they had tix available for people to buy

Some friends and I are going to the exhibition game versus the Chicago Fire in West Lafayette. I'm really looking forward to seeing the squad. I'm really impressed with the regional marketing efforts of the organization; exhibition games in college towns (Louisville, WL) and against a high profile local college team (Indiana) is brilliant.

Also, got tickets for the opening game, going with a few soccer fanatic friends of mine. Pretty excited! They have got to make a move quickly to have a chance of making it into the MLS. Why the hell doesn't MLS have relegation and promotion and such? Kinda stupid.
