At least hansbrough made the score respectable...
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

The Hansbrough show in the fourth quarter was the best part of that entire game IMO lol

Just pray that Toronto can pull it out at home. Not what she said.

Orlando won. They played exceptionally well, we didn't play particularly well. We were lazy on defense, they made lots of 3's. I don't think there's very much to say about this one, it really isn't telling of much. We were the road team on the second half of a back to back, and we didn't bring the energy we needed to win.

It's just the Magic's night. The effort was there. Just couldn't catch up a team that's shooting so well from beyond the arc.

And we terribly need to improve the offense.

Amazing how Paul George had good numbers today and here I thought he didn't play well, his numbers were 20 points 10 rebounds and 4 assists

He had a great first quarter all around, and the rest of the game he was prettty effective in everything but scoring. He got some extra FTs as well I think.

Gerald Green is currently 29.4% from the 3-point line, why won't the he stop, I am sure, they get stat-sheets of their performance, yet he continues to shoot at-least 3 (3 pointers) a game.

Maybe because he's been a career 35% shooter, significantly higher than that when he played more minutes? Should Hibbert stop shooting entirely? Let's not lose sight of the big picture here. We're 3rd in the East with Granger coming back soon and we're not even at the All Star Break yet. The wise thing to do is to let Green (and Augustin) shoot their way out of their slumps now, before the season starts to wind down and the playoff picture becomes clearer.

At least Hibbert attempts high-percentage shots, Green's problem is he refuses to drive and simply takes the three, he isn't a spot-up shooter.

Can Green just shoot his way out of his slump in practice? I mean, if he can't get it going in real games, he better find other ways to score.

I have heard it said many times. A player's job is to play and take the open shots within the offense. if a player is doing that and still missing, then it is the coaches job to sit that player and play someone else.

The sai thing is Green is open. His shot selection isn't bad.

He has a shooters mentality. I also get upset that he's not hitting 3's and wish he'd shoot more coming off screens and drives. Then like Quinn says shooters shoot. Thus Green shoots. His 3 are usually good shots, but he's going thru a stretch where he just can't hit the red side of a barn. It's frustrating to watch him miss 3 after 3.

OTOH, no one complained when he was shooting 3's proficiently. Hopefully, it will even out.

The Magic shot 51% from 3, 43% from 2. Just on 3PM alone, the Magic were up 30 points (12 makes vs 2 makes).

Pacers better from 2, got to the line more, got more FGAs. And while I'm sure the 29 assists look good, let's keep in mind that rotating the ball to or kicking out to a 3pt shot gets you an assist. A lot of 3PA come off of passes just due to the nature of the shot. Few guys do a bunch of moves into a 3, usually only needing a couple of dribbles to get over a shooting screen at most.

I know they had some good looks, but I also saw JJ Redick hit a Chuck Person special heat check. Some nights you have the shooting legs under you and it covers up all the other crappy things you are doing.

Yeah, Pacers really need to find a replacement for him.. jj Reddick would be a nice player to have

Nice interaction between McBob and Tyler after the game. Plus the return of McBeard, always nice to see.

Magic hit some stupid shots at times, they were on fire. Some of it was tired Pacers, but really the 0 bench points at halftime hurt even more I think. Eventually you have to score to put them into tougher half court sets while allowing your defense to set up.

I had it as a travel loss in the prediction thread so I can shake it off. Still I really thought they could get it after last night. I'll be so happy when this 4 game West trip is over.

Toronto needs to win today and Atlanta needs to hold on to the lead just to minimize the effect of this loss.

I expected this loss but I hoped that our guys were going to prove me wrong. It didn't happen, though

Anyway, I have no reason to be mad at them. The playbook that the Magic use is our big weakness. I expect Vogel to find a way to nullify that weakness
Tonight, all flags must burn, in place of steeples.
Autonomy must return into the hands of the people.
