Did Reggie do any interviews with pacers.com or the local stations? Or did he quickly bolt out of BLF after the game?

Also, does anyone know if he still has a house in the Indy area? I remember reading about 5 or so years ago that he was selling his Geist house, but I can't remember reading if he downsized or just decided to leave Indy for good.

EDIT: He sold his home in 2011 after it was on the market for four years.

I honestly think Vnzla is trolling us because there is no way I can truly see someone trying to draw a parallel between Reggie Miller and Steve Novak. I mean I can't even really see someone drawing a parallel between Shane Battier and Steve Novak.
A lot of times Vnzla trolls himself. But he doesn't seem to know that.

On the telecast, Reggie said he sold his home about a year ago. Said last night was the first time in 25yrs he's had to stay in a hotel while here.

This was a really fun game from the beginning. As per usual I walked in to buy my tickets at the last minute seeing how we don't really sell out week night games. Before getting in line the Pacers corporate ticket sales manager approached me with 2 free tickets in section 2. There we're 3 in our group but, we bought an upper deck ticket then just walked in together no problem to section 2. The whole game there was certainly an energy in the crowd.

I remember late in the fourth we we're still up 10 and the game was pretty much out of hand for the knicks but, even up big with every shot we made the crowd would go crazy. You'd thought we we're the ones trying to come back from 10 down. Maybe it was the fact that it was on TNT or that Reggie was in the house but, whatever it was I hope there is more to come.

Interesting. It's probably safe to say that he's pretty much never in Indy anymore. Can't say I blame him. Indy is a great place for regular people to live, but I'd be posted on a beach if I had his money.

Damn why is he selling in a down economy like it is right now. Shame he comes here so rarely.

He probably just wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible. Taking three million less than the asking price isn't that big of a loss to someone with his money. Plus there aren't many people in Indy who are in the market for homes that cost several million dollars. Gotta take an offer when it's there.

Knicks didn't have Melo. Miami was coasting. These games were meaningless. Actually they were two L's Pacers are 20-16.
I know. It sucks rooting for the only team in the league that catches any breaks like that. Everyone else just mans up and wins flawlessly. It's really going to hurt, too, when everyone else steps it up in the playoffs except the Pacers. Boy will that be brutal.

Here is a cool Chick Hearn interview with Reggie at MSA. It's from Reggie's rookie season.

Also while Iím here let me make this statement. Steve Novak needs to get down every day and thank God that the three point line exists because if it werenít for that he would be doing what he is really qualified to do and that is clean truck stop toilets. Never have I seen 24 more useless min. played in a game.

I'm not sure how you can say that when the face of the Pacers for a long time was one of the best 3 point shooters ever.
So this is fantastic. During the Knicks v Bulls game, they pointed out that Novak logged over 1,000 minutes last season and didn't score a single shot at the rim. Not a layup, nothing.

This makes Unclebuck's statement 100% accurate and there is no way you can show me another player on a contender, let alone essential to one, with a stat like that.

I think vnzla81 is confusing "being good at shooting 3's" with "only being able to shoot 3's", which are two completely different things.

    2 questions:

Is this the first game that Reggie attended since the retirement ceremony in BLF?

How is the best way to defend against the pick n roll when it comes to Hibbert defending the paint ?

There were many plays where Hibbert had to defend JR Smith in a pick n roll. Hibbert obviously isn't able to defend this against far more quicker players. Like always....this will always be an issue. Is there any adjustments that Hibbert or the backcourt can do to mitigate this as a flaw in the defense?
