    Default Vitalis NBA One-on-One Tournament

Anyone remember watching this as a kid? I say as a kid so as not to imply someone is older than dirt.

In hindsight they were a pretty cheesy but as kids we loved them. At our grade school we actually had a similar tournament that was conducted on the playground at recess and took almost two weeks to complete.

If you look at the video there is a brackett that lists most of the players and some surprising upsets. There is also highlights of some previous match-ups.

Keith Jackson still manages to get a "head knock'in" reference in on the play by play.

They put the tournament on for two years and Lanier won the 1972 version with Geoff Petrie winning in 1973.
