Thread: We're #3 in the East!

  1. #1

Default We're #3 in the East!

Hawks got smoked last night! Bulls lost AT HOME!

And no Carmello tonight! Huge opportunity tonight to move up even closer.

I totally believe our guys will not take them lightly and will not let down. Besides, we have some health issues too.
George H may not even play. Lance and Gerald are not 100%

National telecast. Reggie in the house. I believe Pacers will come out focused!

I read George might not play and just assumed you meant PG24 not Hill. Man I about had a stroke. Whew! Im not saying, missing Hill doesn't hurt. But not having PG24 is a death sentence.
If games are won and lost on a calculator and piece of paper, then why do we bother to play them?

I was trying to stick with the "first name basis" writing mode.
Hopefully GHill is feeling better but if he has the flu, I doubt if he feels to swell today.

This game is worth a whole magic number... a win for us and a loss for NY, in the same game, is a big deal. This game went from being a "probably lose" to "must-win," in my mind.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

I came here to post this. It looks nice, doesn't it? Especially when you consider our rocky start and the Granger injury we had to deal with. Hats off to the players and to Vogel (and the rest of the coaching staff too.)

I am so nervous now because I know that if we take a dump against the Knicks tonight all the positivity will go right down the tubes.

On national TV, no less. Let's just hope that doesn't happen.

Maybe we get lucky and he has a MJ/Kobe flu type game

And people thought we would be a 5th seed at best without Granger.

There were national writers (Hello, Grantland), that said the Pacers would struggle to make the playoffs *WITH* Granger.

I think tonight will tell us A LOT about Paul George and his ability to be more of a number one option offensively. Many analysts and NBA heads have been talking him and the Pacers up. Now we have a nationally televised game against a marquee team.

He could either crap his pants like he did in the playoffs, or he could show up with another big game. I'm gonna go with something in the middle, and hope for more!

I agree, but PG24 is being guarded by Chris Copeland so he should jave a big game.

Jared Dudley had a 36 point game against them when Melo was out. I'm not sure how it happened though.

From a 3-6 record to #3 in the East. Yep, the culture has changed on this team.

    Blazers just beat the Heat.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

We're the only team in the top 4 in the east not on a losing streak.

2 games out of first with a Miami loss. So close you can taste it. Oddly enough it too tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios

I now think a realistic goal should be number 1 seed in the east. Would 55 wins do it? Pacers would have to go 33-13 the rest of the way
