Thread: Granger for Gordon??

    Default Granger for Gordon??

Hey guys whats up? Hornets fan here and we are debating on whether this trade would be a go or no go on your end. I think it would be a great trade for u guys with Gordon manning the 2 and George at the 3(where he belongs). That seems like a dream scenario for u guys. We are basing this off a HEALTHY Gordon and granger too. Saying Gordon stays healthy thru the rest of the season with no setbacks. Much love for Indy too!!! All my family is out there and I was born in st Francis hosp. Moved to n.o when I was just a baby tho. So grew up here all my life. I wanna hear from all u guys and thank u very much!!!! Good luck on u guys season!!!!

If Eric Gordon stays healthy and stays around 18 ppg, and Granger gets healthy, then yeah I would do it, Paul George is better at the 3 and we need a good shooting guard to pair with him, both young and could be a dynamic duo, now if Danny Granger comes back and out team becomes a title contender, then I might keep him, but I am sure Indy's FO would listen to the offer

Eric Gordon has been discussed endlessly on this forum. To sum it up for you: We like him, he's a good to great player, but we can't trust his injury/health history going forward, especially with the fat contract he just signed.

EDIT: Welcome to the board. Stay awhile, get comfy. We like having perspective from around the league.

Gordon is great....can be a great scorer in this league. He's young and very talented.............BUT his injuries scare everyone.
"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

The thing is, Danny Granger doesn't have a history of injury. There's no reason to think his current injury will threaten his career.

With Gordon, it feels like just a matter of time. If he had a season-ending injury tomorrow, would anybody be surprised?
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

I'd rather gave PG play the 2 spot with DG at the 3... and sometimes have DG slide over to the 4 , Paul to the 3...

I'd love to see how this unit would play out...

    Hibbert
    Granger
    George
    Stephenson
    Hill

    And the 2nd unit being..

    Mahinmi/West
    West/Hansbrough
    Green/McGuire
    OJ
    Augustin

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

Also, if that's geographically accurate, shouldn't the ground be covered with snow and discarded Heat jerseys?

It's like a real-life Groundhog Day. croz will be in here any second now to tell us how we need a superstar to win, and Gordon is that superstar.

I don't know why we are all acting like Gordon is the main injury concern at this point. As far as I can see only one player is actually playing basketball at this point. Who says Granger comes back and is his old self?

    Welcome to the forums, mate

As all the people before me said, we're really scared about Eric's injuries. If we knew that he could stay we would probably do this.

Eric really needs to go to the Suns in order to salvage his career.
Tonight, all flags must burn, in place of steeples.
Autonomy must return into the hands of the people.

15, 20, 3, and 20 games missed over the prior four seasons. Of course, there's this season, where we're 35 games in and Danny's yet to have played a single second.

Granger's injury history isn't on par with Gordon's, but he absolutely does have a history of injury.

Eric Gordon is not needed. We have our SG of the future. His name is Lance Stephenson
    David "And One" West

Probably the second semester of his sophomore year at North Central. It was on after that.

I think we seriously were able to go from when he was resigned to just about a week ago without anyone purposing 1......

More like 15, 20, 3, and 4, seeing as we only played 66 games last year...
