Missed the game cause I'm out of town, but love the result! Wade (and Garnett and Noah) is my least favorite player. The guy flops, cheats, hit nuts, pushes in the back and never get's punished by the league. Great to see PG and Lance continuing to play well against good teams.

On Lance's drive to the basket late in the game, I really think Wade was trying to hit him in the head. It didn't work, but it sure could have been bad if he'd connected.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

When Lance stripped Wade and had a breakaway, I immediately said "Wade gets a flagrant here." He didn't get a flagrant, but he brought his arms down hard on Lance. Wade had a little hissy-fit because he got stripped and you knew he was going to foul Lance there.

I also found it interesting that Wade got benched immediately and sat for a good while. I think Coach Spolestra has learned that you can't leave Wade on the court when he is having a fit. There have been multiple instances where Wade has taken the Heat out of a game because he just starts taking terrible shots and not putting in any effort after something goes against him.

I wonder how many teams go into a game with the Heat with the strategy of attacking Lebron James on defense?

That is the blueprint on how to beat the Heat. Pacers manhandled them. Out rebounding them 55-36.

i know everyone will be talking about PG, but IMO he wasn't the deciding factor

"They grinded us to a near halt offensively," coach Erik Spoelstra said after his team scored 35 second-half points, with the 77 a season low.

"They did a good job of bottling up the first and second looks of our sets," he said. "We were not very fluid offensively, didn't really help each other."

Missing George Hill and Danny Granger, and the Pacers still win by double digits. LOVE IT.

    REBOUNDING!

That was the ball game. 19 RB advantage, 22 ORB. Wow.

Great team effort. Out shot, but won on hustle and TOTAL team effort. And won basically without two starters.

Felt great to be a Pacers fan tonight. But it was just one game.

Great great win and absolutely love it! Paul George once again in a beast mode. Mind boggling why we didn't go to him in the last possessions when the game got ugly. Great call by Vogel not to put Hill back in. George couldn't play tonight and was hurting the team and DJ was more than decent. As for Roy (offensively), oh well...

PS:Wade, you are a great player but also a massive flopping *****. Go **** yourself.

Great all-around performance by the team tonight. PG and Lance delivered. Bird really won the jackpot in that draft.

We know that the Heat has been poor on rebounding lately, and we capitalized on them greatly.

And the bench really has been solid this game. DJ, Tyler, Ian and Green provided solid contributions with their limited minutes.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.
