I wonder how many teams go into a game with the Heat with the strategy of attacking Lebron James on defense?

That is the blueprint on how to beat the Heat. Pacers manhandled them. Out rebounding them 55-36.

i know everyone will be talking about PG, but IMO he wasn't the deciding factor

Missing George Hill and Danny Granger, and the Pacers still win by double digits. LOVE IT.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    REBOUNDING!

That was the ball game. 19 RB advantage, 22 ORB. Wow.

Great team effort. Out shot, but won on hustle and TOTAL team effort. And won basically without two starters.

Felt great to be a Pacers fan tonight. But it was just one game.

Great great win and absolutely love it! Paul George once again in a beast mode. Mind boggling why we didn't go to him in the last possessions when the game got ugly. Great call by Vogel not to put Hill back in. George couldn't play tonight and was hurting the team and DJ was more than decent. As for Roy (offensively), oh well...

PS:Wade, you are a great player but also a massive flopping *****. Go **** yourself.

Great all-around performance by the team tonight. PG and Lance delivered. Bird really won the jackpot in that draft.

We know that the Heat has been poor on rebounding lately, and we capitalized on them greatly.

And the bench really has been solid this game. DJ, Tyler, Ian and Green provided solid contributions with their limited minutes.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

Pacers just up'd the expectations for this season regardless if we get Danny back healthy or not.

Fantastic win. Just amazing. Winning without Granger, a sick Hill who didnt play much, and Hibbert still inept on offense and we win by 10. Absolutely thrilled.

Paul George. What a freaking player! This kid is something else. On a night where Wade and LeBron were on the court, PG was the best player. Hit big shots, tough shots, long shots, short shots. Did you see the difference in the work Wade had to do when PG was guarding him? It was insane. Paul George might be a top 10 player in the NBA by the end of the year.

Also, we dont win that game with last years bench. Its taken a good bit of time, but DJ and Ian were very good tonight. Replace Lou with Ian, I highly doubt we win.

Don't tell me this team can't contend.

I hope we take out the Knicks on ESPN!

Great rebounding, and of course Paul George. 29 big ones, and more importantly limited Lebron James who I've heard is pretty good

We out rebounded them 55 to 36. On the offensive boards, we out rebounded them 22 to 7. That's amazing.

Big win. It puts an end to the whole "we cannot beat good teams" argument. We can when we play them in our court
