I can already see the headlines on the ESPN website "Celtics blowout Pacers by 20 despite Garnett ejection"

Don't know how anyone could watch this game and not come to the conclusion that Celts did not defensively and on the board completely control this game from a physicality and toughness standpoint.
Maybe because we're actually tied in boards at the moment? 43 - 43.

Edit: Which is still unacceptable. We should be killing them inside.

Does anyone else have the displeasure of having to watch the Boston feed tonight.....These announcers are almost as big homers as Stacey King is for the Bulls....it's pretty appalling....

Dale Davis would have put Sullinger punk on his *** by now. What have we done to show them we won't put up with that **** tonight?

Nobody wants to play . . . I mean EVERYBODY wants to smack Tyler Hansbrough.

Sullinger throwing his elbows around again. Dude is a freaking thug.
You can tell he's been learning from Garnett. I wouldn't call him anything close to a thug though.

West, Green, George, Lance 8 for 48. Not mentally ready to play.

We have no enforcers. Back in the day, David West would have been soft.

Find all the reasons you want to be an apologist for us tonight. We played like crap, sure. Boston had a lot to do with that. They absolutely dominated the tenor of this game. We did not match their intensity. We were struggling, and we just wilted. This is not what I think our team is, but in this on we got our lunch handed to us and just stood back and let them take us out behind the woodshed.

This DWest couldn't hit stuff is BS. He couldn't get an uncontested look at the basket. The few he got he converted.
He got several easy layups from the left block that he just flat out missed.

The Celtics played great D (to my surprise, I admit it) but this weren't the sole reason we shot so horribly bad.

You don't beat Rondo and Pierce without either a starting level PG or a starting level SG...and with your C playing like he has lead boots on.

I agree, but a major ingredient in the Celts winning handily here is that they broke out a back in the day approach. And we just did not rise to the occasion. We were completely bullied in this game.

I saw several of those DWest left block shots, at least two put up with his left hand. The help defender - superb rotation - seriously bothered both releases, which ended up not even close.

If we played like we played against Memphis we would beat them. We had the same injury problems then.

There's really no excuse for our starters tonight.

My comments are about this game as well.

There's nothing intimidating on them. Why Mahinmi and Tyler are looking ok?

Our starters are playing like poop. They are the ones that are losing us the game. That has nothing to do with being "mentally tough" or not. It's been said a lot of times that West is a "mentally tough" individual. How is he doing today? He is playing worse than anyone else.

Imo, it has nothing to do with the so called "mental toughness". We're simply playing like ****.

However, I have to give credit to Boston for their D. They have been excellent so far in the 4th. But it's us playing so bad that helped them built the confidence and deliver on D.
Just can't admit it can you. This team is mentally weak. Hibbert is a softee as is Green, Augustine, and Mahimi. Rondo made Augustine look like a fool. Our coach wasted Tyler on the bench the hole 3rd quarter, while West stunk it up.
