Donald Sterling is finally having success with his basketball team and then this happens. So sad.

As a former Clippers fan, I despised Donald Sterling for many years. But this is such an awful thing for anyone to go through. Thoughts are w/ the family and friends.

I don't care how horrible a person you are... No one deserves to lose a child before they pass... Worst thing ever!

So sad for him, his family, and Clippers nation. Hopefully they'll put a patch on their jerseys with his initials, like the Patriots did for the Kraft family. Also, maybe this will help raise awareness of drug use, and prevent the tragedy of someone else passing away. Losing someone close to you is the toughest thing anyone will ever have to go through. Being the son of a man who passed away at 33, it broke my mom and my grandparents, but made them much stronger in the end. It has definitely shaped me as a person, for the better, and hopefully will be the same for Mr. Sterling.
