I'll be there no matter what.
I'll be there no matter what.
Safe travels to all the crazy people driving down to Conseco! I won't be going but I never really planned on it.
They will pay the game if the refs and players are ready to go
I have tickets but won't be able to use them because i won't be able to get downtown. I could give them to a buddy who would use them or see if the pacers will honor a kind of raincheck ticket or something off another purchase.
Anyone have any experience with that notion?
They might not have Luo Deng. He sprained his ankle last night. This is must win. You cant sqaunder this oppurtinity. Well rested. We're getting the Bulls at home with them coming off a back to back and no Rose or Deng?
Must win. We cannot lose this game. This is the game real contenders take care of. This needs to be a statement.
The team all made it to shootaround per Benner....
"And David put his hand in the bag and took out a stone and slung it. And it struck the Philistine on the head and he fell to the ground. Amen. "

Game is on for tonight according to wthr
It's a shame that a lot of people probably won't be able to make it to the game. This would have been a fun one to go to with it being the day after Christmas and Chicago coming to town.
I walked to that TOR ice game, and even that was tricky. Plus I was covered in ice rain by the time I got there. But it beat risking the car.
That Toronto ice game cost me a wheel and tire.
"I had to take her down like Chris Brown."
Yeah I'm sure a lot of people got tickets for christmas and cant make it down. im sure they will play the game since all the players are already at BLF and the refs are in town
pacers should allow unused tickets to be put towards another game though, its the right thing to do
The Toronto ice game was tough to get to, but no way in hell was I missing Vogel's debut as coach after *****ing about JOB for so long. I took my boy, went to the gift shop and bought him a shirt, I bought us hot dogs and got myself a brew. I had voted with my wallet for the previous season and that season to that point by not spending a dime on the Pacers in any way. I wanted to reverse that trend and show the Pacers they made a decision that many fans could agree with.
Took us 3 hours to get to Anderson after that damn Toronto game
If games are won and lost on a calculator and piece of paper, then why do we bother to play them?
That's a nice idea, but logistically it's almost impossible. They can't take tickets from people who have already bought them for future games. You may be able to give a partial refund, but you're probably SOL.
More than likely what you'll see tonight is, if there are only 4 to 5000 people who show up, the Pacers allowing fans from the upper 2 levels to sit in the lower level. I've seen that before at a bad weather game at the Palace.
Hell or High
WaterSnow, I'm making it to the game tonight!
...Still "flying casual"
I refused to re-up season tix and told my rep explicitly that. I also said to call me the minute he's done and I'll come over to BiLF with a check. Sure enough I got an email that Saturday (IIRC) and was more than happy to say "hell yeah".I had voted with my wallet for the previous season and that season to that point by not spending a dime on the Pacers in any way
My only disappointment was that I wanted to hand them the check right as they finished announcing the change at the presser. Seriously, this was my dream.
I thought Hill needed to go, I thought Zeke needed to go, I was done with Brown by the end. But in none of those cases was I so mad at them directly. Being a bad coach or just not winning games is one thing; the JOB thing was another.
BTW, it was post-JOB, pro-Vogel that got Gnome and I on the phone saying "lets do the Texas thing" and locking in our trip 2 years ago. You give me a team that cares, tries and is coached by decent people, even if they fail, and I'll come down in ice and snow storms to watch them try.
My daughter called Pacer's customer service stayed on line 45 minutes and was able to exchange tonight's tickets for Friday night with Phoenix. This is a lot better than no game at all.
Very impressed with the Pacers. Apparently the pacers have really pissed everyone off in the city administration for having the game when the city wants everyone off the roads. I don't think it was the pacer's call but the NBA's call.

It's postponed. Rescheduled and announced at later date.
