Last year Vogel was amazing at half time talks. Our team would always come out fired up and motivated at the 3rd half. This year that hasn't been the case the whole team. But we certainly need it tonight.

We need a boost. Anything to get us going. We have a mountain to climb after that nightmarish first half.

This happy holiday thing is terrible, it is like Simon hired his 13 year old nephew to do it.

He was released at his own request and retired. Wants to be near his family.

edit: plus he got hurt in his last game.

At the half Paul George has 11 points the other 4 starters a combined 12 points. Roy and Ian is making Robin Lopez look like an All Star 13 points 6 boards and 4 blocks. Roy 1 of 6 from the field and Ian 1 of 3.

The Ben H experience needs to end play Augustin the 2nd half if Lance continues to fire airballs go with a Hill and Augustin backcourt.

I expected to see more of this pairing this year. Surprised the Pacers haven't used it any/much.

I don't understand why people are already to bail on Hansbrough after a bad half or two, and are more than willing to bring back a player who had 20 bad games in a row.

The Hornets have a big defensive weakness according to teamrankings.com's defensive stats. They are horrible at defending the 3 point shot.

We all remember PG hitting 7 (or was it 8?) threes against them earlier in the season. Can we ride this shot and return to this game?

I'm not sure. We seem to be having an off night. We probably should take safer shots.

But we have fallen so have behind that we have to take some risks and hope they pay off. Let's hope that we, at least, try to comeback.

To think we gave Hibbert a max contract when Robin Lopez was slumming it on the streets. Shooting 30% while playing 20 minutes a game and grabbing 5 rebounds...

It's easy to ignore when we're winning and playing good defense. That's just playing dumb to the fact that it's looking like one of the worst max contracts in NBA history. How a 7'2 guy can grab so few boards and a center can have such a low shooting percentage is incomprehensible. I expect more out of a back up and this guy is being paid max money. That ain't right.

Hibbert reminds me of Albert Haynesworth. Plays for a contract and once he gets it, he disappears. If you recall, Hibbert said Indiana is where he wants to be and made it sound as if he'd give us a discount. First chance he got, he signed a max offer from Portland and forced Indiana to match. Same as Haynesworth who made a deal under the table with the Redskins before he was a free agent. Hibbert wanted to be here so bad that a max contract mattered most and instead of working it out with us, he signed another offer and forced us to match on his terms. Looks at his production since...

Sorry. I never liked how everything went down with him but was willing to get over it because I figured he'd produce. The only thing he is producing is poo. Don't even think he'd net an expiring contract at this point.

Hibbert still cares, just playing poorly. Haynesworth quit even trying once he was payed. They are nothing alike at all.

True. Damian Lillard is running away with the ROY and not looking back at all.

However, Davis has had some injury issues already.
