Paul George is looking better every game. His D was really solid today and he was scoring & rebounding. All of the starters looked good.

Guess who Gerald Green was yapping to on the Jazz bench after his and-1 dunk in the 2nd half? Yep, Jamaal Tinsley

Well, if DJ plays like he can then it doesn't suck for us. If he plays like he played earlier in the season then it does suck.

Guys, I am a curse for the team. I watched last night's mess of a game - first game I've been able to watch in a while because of work - and of course we played just horrifically. Kinda forgot it was a back-to-back, so I didn't watch this game, and we win in style... I'm pretty conflicted.

Glad to see a good bounce-back win and FINALLY some positives from Green, as well as Paul George's continuing development. I am really anxious to see Danny back on the court with Paul playing like this, and see what happens. If they can work it out, all five starters will truly be threats, and it allows Lance and Green to play the role they were meant to play off the bench. Games like this are keeping me excited about what has otherwise been a rough start to this season.

And while it's on my mind, but completely off-topic here, when do we expect Danny back again?

if I can help you with the conflict a little, may I suggest you miss as many games as possible. Perhaps in the playoffs you could just go ahead and miss them all. And, If you play your cards right, maybe there are even some of your fellow forum members that might be willing to chip in and pay you for missing games...

I noticed years ago that we win more road games when I don't watch......

Hmm, there may be profit there.....

i'll get yelled at for this, but............... I say we give D.J. Augustin his back-up role back, he looked good tonight, see if him getting put on the bench woke him up and if it didn't just sit him back down
Eh, he hit a couple shots, other than that he really didn't do anything to say he looked good. I would still rather stick with Hansbrough, and see how he develops. I think he has the potential to be a much better and more complete player than Augustin.

We have a chance to make some hay over these next 6 games. Need to take advantage of two easier road games against Cle and NO and then return home and take care of Chi and Pho. Split against Atl on the road and Mem at home and we could be 19-13 heading into the New Year

It's not like Ben Hansbrough is much of an improvement on DJ Augustin, if any.

Makes you wonder how they wilted so easily in the 4th against the Bucks. It was a road game though. I think there was a post saying that we are 2-9 against teams over .500, but we also played most of those teams on the road.

He might not be a huge improvement, but he is an improvement, especially on defense, who also has room to grow. DJ has proven over his career to be a terrible defender and a poor shooter. In the first 20 games he proved his PG skills don't make up for those facts. Two shots don't change that. After seeing how each player has played in games Vogel would be an idiot to start playing DJ over Hansbrough if Hansbrough is keeping up his current level of play.

At least Hansbrough can go out there an not be a detriment. That's an improvement.

GOOD MOVE: With Tyler Hansbrough bothered by a first-half shoulder injury but available to play, Vogel opted to give D.J. Augustin a chance to play in the fourth quarter and it might've sparked a return to form from the veteran, who hit 3-for-4 shots and scored seven points -- just one short of his season high.
    Nice editing.

We would be 3 - 10 against teams over .500 if it wasn't for Philly dropping 5 straight and falling below .500 (that's why I hate those over and below .500 stats, as well). Only 4 of those games were in our home. In the home games, we would be 2 - 2 (if it wasn't for Philly as I said). In the away games, we are 1 - 8.

It makes a lot of sense that we cannot get it done in the end against playoff teams without our best player in their own court.

Paul George was flat out disruptive tonight. What an awesome game from him! Those two helpside blocks were ridiculous. One was a complete anticipation play. He got off his feet on the other side of the rim before Favors even went into his move.

Not impressed with Green's game last night. I thought he took maybe 2 or 3 good shots all game. He made shots, but he still played dumb bball. Traveled on the and 1 dunk. Showed that talent, though. It was nice to see shots go down for him. We need him.

Paul's swatting shots like LB. Dunking on everybody. Still getting no love from refs.

Lance... what a pass to Hibs.

    Hell of a game.

I want a rest of the season plus playoffs sample, but until we get there, this is great.

Can we just bottle that performance from the first three quarters? Sensational. Definitely the force and intensity the starters completely failed to bring in Milwaukee. I think even 50% of that effort would have been an improvement against the Bucks and probably wins us the game.

Because I've been riding him, although I have not been hating, I want to be sure and congratulate Green on a nice offensive game. Hopefully this gets him moving in a better direction. Now, I'll need to see this type of progress more regularly to be satisfied, not to mention in some other areas besides scoring, for example shot selection. Did you see some of the ridiculous heat checks once he hit a few shots?

DJ? Well, I guess I'll just hope for the best seeing that BHans will be out for a while anyway. I don't think BHans is that much of a difference. In fact, if DJ plays to his capability he's a superior player, at least offensively. But, the one area that Ben has helped is just getting a consistent effort/energy each night. If DJ can't play with some fire, then it doesn't matter. As a bench player, you've got to bring some energy.
