But, you know, all the other aspects of the game aside, the signature plays by us were fouling two three point shots. In a game that close those points matter. That pretty much sums up where our mentals were, at least the starters. PG & GH were the culprits.

Pacers give another game away. Hibbert played like a pacemate. Hill gets torched. West was awful and if Stephenson is not going to do anything or be allowed to do anything sit his a__s on the bench. The team did not come ready to play. This is exactly why they are just average and nothing more. The coaching matched the play. Pathetic

Completely agree, doctor-h, the starters definitely did not come ready to play. 14 TOs first half. Then the shooting went south in the 2nd half and they were not tough enough to overcome it. Not sharp at all.

We won't see another opportunity this year to move up in the standings this much in one night. It's a shame.

Ben needs more time. Wish we ran at least a semblance of an offense.

I am really upset at that game. They changed their gameplan to go back to more of a post-up offense because of the Bucks' size I assume. But we haven't had one game this year where that offense has been effective. The only reason we scored as much as we did was because the Bucks foul so much. But honestly, even with the foul differential the Bucks were being allowed to be more physical the entire game, and especially in the second half.

I think if they had used the same offense we were using the last 10 games we would have won. But with all that said, I find it hard to blame the refs or some on fire mid range shooting by Jennings when we had 15 first half turnovers and showed no energy to move to loose balls. I mean, Jennings picked up balls on the ground and laid them in 3 or 4 times.

Don't know the boxscore but Hill was outplayed by Ben Hanbrough tonight. Hill's decision making was horrible tonight.

Did you mean: Playoffs? I just hope we can win a game!

Yep. He and PG weren't creating like they were in the past couple.

As bad as that play was, that didnt cause us to give up all those offensive Rebs, miss those FT's, or make West miss bunnies inside. It also didnt make Hill play bad defense on Jennings
Lets also not forget the easy bunny that Lance missed over Dunleavy

The fouls on 3 point shots by George and Hill were just plain stupid. Especially our leader Hill. The IQ of this team is really low. I would like to see our coaches do something one time when a player makes such a rediculous play.

Does anyone have a .gif of that horrible green play? It probably could hold its own on America's Funniest Home Videos
Which one? The one where he dribbled the ball off of his foot? Or one of the many other bad plays.

I would trade Green and Augustin for Dunleavy in a heartbeat if it were fiscially possible

No, the one where we were up by one in the closing minutes on a fast break and he drives to the basket to lose/toss/do god knows what with the ball instead of passing or even trying for a layup

I can't remember who, but had he held up he could've gotten the ball to someone. But honestly he should have just finished the layup.

Young does seem to be finding his role out there and playing better. If Danny was back, I'd expect Young and Lance to get all of the backup wing minutes, with Green on third string.

Speaking of which, any new news on Danny?
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

No new news on Danny, two more months.

And regarding OJ I have not seen anything positive from the guy but at this point they should try him over Green, Green is just bad.

What pissed me off is the refs didn't call the same exact foul on the Bucks on Hill's late three.

And actually the no-call on Hill was worse because it actually affected the shot. The other two were touch fouls well after the ball had left.

For all of you who think Jennings sucks, well, he kicked our *** tonight.
He can get hot, for sure, but some of those shots he was hitting were pretty crappy shots.

He is far more explosive and flashy, but night in and night out I'm happier with George Hill.

The turnovers are angering, so much so that I want to punch my computer right now as I type. The officiating, which was great at the beginning of the season, is steadily progressing back towards the status quo of complete crap. As good as our D is, I am still baffled by some of the wide open looks we give people. Brandon Jennings might have the worst haircut that I have ever seen, what did he do lose a bet?
