    Pacers lose 98-93

Just like the Jets last night, fitting that we should lose with another turnover.

If games are won and lost on a calculator and piece of paper, then why do we bother to play them?

I was more upset by how ineffective the Pacers (West and Hibbert, in particular) were against Larry Sanders. He shut them down like a DPOY.

He can get hot, for sure, but some of those shots he was hitting were pretty crappy shots.

He is far more explosive and flashy, but night in and night out I'm happier with George Hill.

West (as much as I like him) is picking a bad time to have an off stretch, what with his big USA today write up. Can't be helping any AS candidacy he's building. Might as well have stayed with THans an Mahinmi inside down the stretch.

Great opportunity to advance in the standings, but we played like **** instead. Now we have to pray for a Mavs win so we don't slide any further.

Pretty ugly game. Trying to find some kind of positive take away about all I can come up with is at least we only took 4 threes? More turnovers as a team than assists, no one with double digit boards, leading scorer has 11... starters combine for 42 points. Just ugly.

what is going on with these stats you made up?

edit: oh you mean west had 11 not tonight's leading scorer ... although i should mention PG had double digit rebounds

I blame Green. We lost our momentum on that fast break where he just tossed the ball in the air...god i hate him

I don't entirely blame him, but I pointed out this as the turning point in the game thread. We were streaking at that just eliminated the momentum we were building. But, plenty of others carried the choke torch for him after that.

As bad as that play was, that didnt cause us to give up all those offensive Rebs, miss those FT's, or make West miss bunnies inside. It also didnt make Hill play bad defense on Jennings

Yeah, Jennings kind of had his way there at the end.

It was ridiculous. Idk why but he just gives Hill fits when they play. Then Hill tries to our score him and ends up playing selfishly offensively. Prob one of the main reasons why we lost this game was the outcome of this particular matchup

I can't remember who, but had he held up he could've gotten the ball to someone. But honestly he should have just finished the layup.

The fouls on 3 point shots by George and Hill were just plain stupid. Especially our leader Hill. The IQ of this team is really low. I would like to see our coaches do something one time when a player makes such a rediculous play.

Kind of weird to pin it all on that play. The story of the game is how many times we pissed away the ball and gave them multiple chances to stick around and then pull ahead.

For some reason,i blame that awful play too the most.It was like he killed any momentum we could get by scoring in that play. Can't hide the fact he enraged me even more than Hibbert does offensively this year.He didn't have a single clue what to do at that fast break.Lance did the same too.But I'm sick of Green's shortcomings. He's just not good enough and i will say it again.I dread the moment we go into playoffs and we still have him on our roster and still use him. Finally, regarding Hibbert,he missed yesterday several baskets that the ball "rimmed out".Thing is,this season,i have seen him missing tens of it.You could attribute it that much down to luck.He simply doesn't have the conviction when he gets up.Last night he got blocked twice i think. Here we are having a 7"2 center who is under the basket,he pump fakes like he's Nate Robinson and refuses to/can't dunk.

Bench (minus Green per usual) was the positive for me. PG & Hill were okay, but PG more in spots than throughout and Hill cancelled out some of his good stuff with some poor plays.
