    Default Pacers/Pistons Postgame Thread

Game win and great to see us build these comfortable leads and keep them in the 4th quarter.

You know how we felt after we lossed to a mature Spurs team who closed out the game in the 4th? Well, thats how they feel overthere in Detroit now..

    Game Ball to bench bigs:

Absence of Roy, Pendy, THans, Mahinmi really brought intensity - and Tyler some points.

He got kneed in his thigh by Monroe and left immediately in the 2nd.

Boy, that was an ugly game. Followed by weird garbage-time with all the starters in the game.

PG might have only finished with 15 points tonight but he finished with 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and some amazing defense having to play over 43 minutes. As someone mentioned before the game, Prince made it difficult for him to score but PG just found other ways to help the team win.

Great to see us playing the way like last season and then some.

If games are won and lost on a calculator and piece of paper, then why do we bother to play them?

We weren't up huge and the starters built the lead in a matter of minutes.

At least we have some days off and Roy can rest up.

If you are inclined to criticize the poor shooting of Paul George then look at the statistics. He had many assists. Meanwhile, he managed to score, but most importantly be helped others score.

Btw, for those wondering about Tyler's scoring his year, his 2 jumpers that he normally would be missing took him from a 3/8 to a 5/8 night where he scored a solid 11 points on 8 shots.

Lance is now painfully obviously the best candidate on roster to be 2nd point. In fact, I'd keep Green with starters just due to what Lance can offer 2nd unit offensively. Starters are solid enough to carry Green when his shot's not there, which apparently is nightly so far this season.

I didn't mean it was weird for us to have them out there, it was weird for Detroit to be playing that way IMO. I could understand if they were trying to win, but for the last 1:30 or so they weren't. There was no defense, just Monroe and West trading buckets lol

I really hope the injuries don't begin to really start to hurt us. Having to choose between Green and Young is one thing, not having Roy's rim-guarding is a whole 'nother issue. PG and West can hold down the team for only so long. Get better, Roy's groin.

I didn't see anything wrong with Ben. He just missed his shots, but at least they weren't the terrible transition 3's with no rebounders in position that Augustin likes to chuck.

I don't think it's what BHans lacks as much as it is what Lance adds.

I would be shocked if he missed so much as a practice over it. Charlie Horse/muscle bruise. Hurts when you get it, sore/stiff the next day and fine after that.

Dealing with Stuckey will always be tough for a smallish PG. I thought he did ok. Stuckey is one of their best players.

Roy seemed ok at the end of the game... can't afford to have him miss any right now...
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

I'm guessing a fantasy team? I would've been happy cuz I have Monroe on mine. But my opponent this week has David West so....

There used to be a poster on here who always had the latest updates on our players groins. I believe he once kept very close track of Darren Collison's before the trade to the Mavs. I'm trying to remember the poster's name....

Suffice to say, Roy's groin has become a point of interest for the Pacer fanbase.
