    Default KG McHale Embrace

Pretty touching, don't know if you've seen it or not.

To quote Byron Scott from today: "As much as we love this game, it don't mean nothing"

I know he was talking about the shootings in Con. but it applies to this as well. It is somewhat inspiring that Garnett showed this side of himself because it certainly goes against his public persona. Life is greater than the game.

A slightly uplifting moment in an otherwise terrible day. Clearly there is more to KG than his on court persona, I don't think I'll ever view him as a tough guy, but he is definitely a loyal person.

I'm pretty sure they were talking about McHale's daughter who recently died.

Actually the quote from Byron Scott came from today and he was talking about the shootings. I just used it because I thought it applied to this situation as well.

I thought was so touching too! They go back to 1995 with the T-Wolves. KG has always looked up to McHale and it was a really nice moment.

It was also nice to see Courtney Lee (he played for the Rockets last year) stop and give his condolences.
