Do you have to have a membership at Movie Gallery or could anyone buy four for the price of two?
    No membership required.

Robots. Took my daughter. Eh. Visually amazing, but a little flat, story-wise.

    Rain Man...
That movie IMHO hasn't stood the test of time very well. I remembered it as being a better movie.

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

    Undisputed . . .
With Wesly Snipes. I think it is one of the better boxing movies to come along.

I have zero desire to see that movie and I LOVE animation. Judging by the commercial,s where you get to put your best foot forward, it looks REALL unimaginative. What cliche, unfunny jokes.

Um, it didn't really happen. Nor was it based on a true story. The Coen Brothers were pulling everyone's leg with that.

Tough film to watch. Great though. It actually is based on a true story and it's obvious it inspired Taxi Driver (also one of my favorites, 3ptmiller).

Kind of a weird double feature (but) North Dallas Forty and the Grapes of Wrath.

    "Hotel Rwanda"

A really good movie. Even though you might not expect it to be, it was very entertaining. I would put it right behind "Million Dollar Baby" and ahead of "Sideways" and "Aviator"

The Village-Typical Shamalan or whatever his name is movie....the twist at the end......But overall, not horrible. Just not great.

"Sideways" was far and away last year's best film released by a major studio. While I don't put much stock in the Oscars, it's always amusing to me that the films that win best screenplay—original or adapted—usually don't win best picture. It all starts with the script. I liked "Hotel Rwanda" a lot, although I think the material overwhelmed the director's personal vision, or perhaps he didn't really have one. Either way, it was incredibly enlightening. "Million Dollar Baby" to me was mediocre at best. "Aviator" had its moments and for a nearly 3-hour film was solid throughout. Not great, but solid.

Of those 4 movies I would rate them this way

    1. Million Dollar Baby
    2. Hotel Rwanda
    3. Sideways
    4. Aviator

But all 4 were excellent. Although if I had all 4 DVD's sitting right here in front of me and I had to watch one and only one right now I would watch "Sideways" It is not a comedy really, but there were 2 or 3 scenes towards the end that were hilarious just surprisingly funny.

Reservoir Dogs and High Fidelity. In terms of going to a movie theater i have plans to catch Sin City on April 1st. Anything with Tarrentino usually gets me to watch. (Knowing that High Fidelity has nothing to do with Tarrantino.
