Just saw Bachelor Party for the first time in maybe a decade. Forgot how frickin' fun this movie (and Tom Hanks) were in the 80's. Still made me laugh my @ss off even after knowing the jokes and punchlines.

I saw The Ladykillers(also had Tom Hanks) a quirky film still liked it never realized how many recognizable actors were in it though.

Boiler Room- Good movie, lots of recognizable actors.

Hard to believe this was almost 20 years ago but there was something authentic about this film which made it hard to watch at times.

Patti Cake$- saw an advanced screening of it the other day.

Pretty good albeit predictable. Nice to see that you can make movies with mostly unknown actors and still tell a decent story.

Columbus. For those who don't know, the movie is based and shot in Columbus, Indiana and is focused on the modern architecture there. It was an incredibly lovely romance movie without any of the usual cliches you find in romance. I saw it at Keystone Landmark and the director was there to discuss the film after, which was great. It was cool to see a director embrace a place like Columbus and turn the small town into its own character. The movie is a critical hit and will probably get awards come this winter (not Oscars but Independent Spirit and Gotham Awards). It deserves them, one of the best I've seen so far this year.
