All I can say is I'm sorry, sounds like your weekend was horrible
I was also at the Vogue (Broad Ripple) Friday night for its flooding out. It was more like "Lake Vogue". The only thing missing was Geezer and Twes bringing in some fishing gear.

So, Lake Vogue Friday... Natl Treasure 2 Saturday... Transformers Sunday.

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

Didn't realize you were such a "partier" (yes I am breaking my rule of never using the word "party" as a verb) If the Vogue hasn't changed since the last time i was there, which had to be a good 10 years ago, it needed a good flooding out.

Wow. I don't think you see Marisa Tomei wearing a shirt until the second hour of the movie. Definitely the best looking 43-year-old I've seen in some time.

The movie was pretty good too. It was a little much in terms of melo-drama here and there, but it was engaging and fairly well-written even if the director did probaly try to squeeze in a couple too many plot devices.

But hey, why pick nits? Any movie with PSH and a legitimate 15 minutes of topless Marisa Tomei is getting a thumbs up from me.

I heard they've already cast her in the sequel, Banged by Brothers

For me, once I got the timeline figured out I had the rest of the movie pretty much pegged. And there wasn't one character I gave a hoot about which never helps - I have to care if someone gets shot or pops pills - I was pretty much rooting for everyone to die.

But MT was defintely a highlight.

Just got done seeing Baby Momma. I was stunned that I was entertained.

It was somewhat predictable, however it was not nearly the crap flick I was expecting.

Indiana Jones... The first half was great... Then Shia Labouf became one with the monkeys and swang from vines like tarzan... the movie was downhill from there..

I agree, Iron Man was pretty good.

Indiana Jones on the other hand...well mostly it was just weird. The story really, really sucked.

    "Cloverfield"

Yes, I know everyone on the planet has already watched this but I'm a little slow with my movies lately.

I had no problem with the 'handheld, home video' style of the movie. I had no problem with the overall plot (pretty neat, actually). ....But man oh man do I wish-

    jiu jitsu sucks

i went with a couple of other film snobs... it was remarkably stupid and while there were some slow sections, it was oddly hilarious. it seems like a movie you'd enjoy.

I can't believe you actually went and saw that movie.

Saw Garden State. Thought it was quite good

Saw Narnia. It was pretty good, some very good fight scenes, technicially very well done.

Some of the acting was horrible and many of the actors in their roles were not credible
