Glad we pushed it to a multi possession game. We were letting them linger way too much, but finished strong for once. Nice win.
Hibberts streak of games with 2 blocks or more has ended!
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.
WE WIN WE WIN HAHAHAHAHA
Man, GH was 1 rebound shy of a triple-double.
man...Spencer Hawes is one oogly dude. But he's got a sweet J
And Paul George!!!! This kid's confidence is through the roof.
I thought our starting 5 last year was amazing...can't wait to see how it'll look when Granger is back playing with this all-new PG24
If you told me last month that I'd be seeing a stretch like this from Paul, I would have laughed for an hour, his confidence looked soooo low.
Now? It's just a different person.

Probably the most impressive game from George Hill since joining the Pacers.
I don't even care about the almost triple double. What impressed me was 10 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. I love those numbers from my PG. On top of that he obviously made some huge plays down the stretch. Great game from him.
Hibbert still looked terrible offensively. His shots fell tonight, but they weren't always pretty. I'm not trying to knock his game tonight, he played great - I'm just not expecting it to be a turning point for him(hopefully I'm wrong).
I love what I have seen from Paul George lately. I'm still frustrated it took this long to happen, but I love that he is here now. I am worried if Granger coming back will in any way effect Paul's current swagger. Thats down the road, but still on my mind. No, this isn't me trying to advocate trading Granger, just a simple concern.
Paul has completely made a 180 turn and looks like a real stud.
Still room for improvement and you know he'll relentless work to get even better, but for now, he only needs to look forward, not back and continue on his path to stardom.
Hopefully this is the start of Roy turning it around. 19 points and 14 rebounds was huge and great to see him play like himself and with confidence again.
If he wasn't skilled enough, I wouldn't have minded. The fact that he has been capable of this all season long is what irritated me.
At the start of the season, he knew what the Pacers needed from him. He came out game 1 looking to score and looked great in the first quarter. From the second quarter of that game, to about 7-8 games ago, he didn't look like he cared. He would go through the motions and acted like a role player.
I'd be shocked if I'm the only one who was irritated by that.
so...is there a vid link of Paul's missed dunk on Hawes? That was seriously THE nastiest missed poster I have ever seen haha. PG's stare down afterwards was too awesome. About time we started seeing some emotion from him.
Congrats to Hibbert for his offensive performance.Doesn't change anything of course but let's hope this will be the beginning of a string of good outings from now on.Hill was really good today and looked assured most of the time.George continued his dominating performances and that puts a big smile on my face.West had a rather off night but still managed to score 14 points. But because some things unfortunately never change, the bench once again was terrible.Don't know how we can fix that situation and upgrade it.Seems difficult that one but we have to do something.
More like Dr. Negative.
This team is finally adjusting to life without Granger and it's really nice to see. Big props to Hill and West for keeping us afloat and for Hibbert and George to start to play better. Hibbert's offense is still ugly but if the shots are going to start falling it'll be okay. Paul George is something else right now. He's hitting everything. The bench has 0 basketball IQ combined though. The bench is 100% unacceptable for an NBA team and the starters won't be able to carry us forever.
I wasn't sure sure (and still not completely) that Paul George's limited offensive skill set could take him to that next level. He's scored at a decent clip but I had yet to see anything that would indicate he has big scoring ability.
But when I saw saw him split that double team at the end of the shotclock, get into the lane and draw the foul, it almost reminded me of Dwyane Wade. Absolutely loved seeing that from him.
They added another rebound to George Hill's stats! Triple double!
Great win. Tomorrow is a really big game since it's a winnable road game. Hard to win these back-to-backs with such an awful bench.
I can see this team being dangerous if Danny comes back healthy AND picking up a veteran to bolster the bench.
Not sure how anything I said in my first post was negative, but your right - I apologize.
Paul George is on pace to be the best basketball player in the history of the NBA.
Roy Hibbert clearly turned a corner tonight and will be averaging at least 19 PPG for the rest of the season. Next season he will bump it up to 29.
The Pacers will not lose another game for the rest of the decade.
Thats what I said in my first post. I simply said the fact that he played so poorly when he was capable of all this before, irritated me. Then everyone decided that I was trying to say I'm pissed off at him.
In my first post said "I am still frustrated it took this long, but I love that he is here now."
I'm one negative son of a *****, I am.
