Colts will win.... then overlook KC looking ahead to division championship game and rematch and lose the KC game.

If we're 10-5 going into Week 17 and locked into the #5 seed do we rest starters? A week off probably wouldn't be the worst thing for Luck.

Rest is for the off-season. I think the entire Colts fanbase, based off of past events, would not want to see a week off. It serves no purpose other than to throw off rhythm and momentum.

We basically took 3 weeks off in 2009 and still went to the Super Bowl.

And lost, despite being 5 point favorites and generally respected as the most dominant team in the league.

And don't forget every other season where the practice of resting starters proved nothing but the opposite.

I don't mind resting starters in a blowout... or for a second half of a meaningless game. But having them not dress is just bad mojo, imo. Let them get out there and get a half of reps in and keep that machine oiled.

Funny thing is with my expectations of the Colts getting beat this week I'll be paying as much attention to the score ticker for the Bengals and Jets games. Priority is the Colts getting in and the Colts not having to face the Patriots in the wildcard.

If they wind up facing the Ravens then there is some secret mojo going on.

This movie was filmed in Evansville, IN. I actually went to high school with that kid.

So we won two playoff games and then lost the Super Bowl because we sat starters in Week 17? Lol ok.

I don't care if we do or not, but I don't think it would hurt.

I don't think Dungy was the greatest motivator and I'm not sure Caldwell was even a real coach so THOSE team taking games off was always a mistake IMHO. This team? Dunno... I don't think this team could be doing what it's doing without some supreme motivation. Whether that is coaching or internal I don't know.

I'm expecting the Tejanos is a relative romp. If we win this at their place though, I think it shows we are in the legit contender conversation. Right now, we're not at that level for me.

The entire team, including Luck, needs to play much better then they have the past few weeks if we want to win that's for sure.

On that completion for the first down Freeney was being held, then he got pushed off and had another chance to get to Schaub and then got held again. They held him twice on one play, let it go both times and Houston got a critical completion out of it. Nice to see some things never change.

Just seen the second series of Houston but we cannot get any pressure on Schaub.

We don't at least move the chains a few times on this, then the route is definitely on. D has been on field the entire quarter.

It's comical, but we've got 2 first downs...thanks to their penalties.

Let's leave the offensive line in Houston or send them on a different plane to Syria or something.

You gotta be kidding me. They might as well let Watt set up in the backfield.

Pitiful. I'd just keep running it between the terrible protection and Luck's throwing so far.
