I didn't get a chance to watch the game, but I checked the score when it was 84-80 OKC in the 4th quarter. What went wrong after that moment?

Durant/Westbrook started scoring, Pacers started turning it over.

I hope we are able to get some kind of offense off the bench at the deadline, otherwise we will probably lose in the first round. Mahinmi and Hans I guess can stick, but we need a player who can consistently score 10 points off the bench a night.

Played one of the best games of the year, just ran into a much better team. I cant even ***** about Franks rotations.

Well, it was a good game for the Pacers. It's too bad that we couldn't get a W out of it.

But you're not going to get a lot of Ws out of OKC in their home when Durant and Westbrook play that good during the 4th. And you certainly aren't going to do it without your best player.

All in all, I was happy and encouraged by this game

We only had 7 turnovers and we shot 45%. Looking purely at stats it looks like we would have won the game. I guess our defense didn't step up enough. Only 13 assists certainly didn't help though.

I'll keep saying that when (and if) DJ starts playing like he has shown that he can (ie. not terrible), this bench will prove that it's much better than last year's.

Also, I don't think that we will lose in the first round with Danny Granger. But time will tell, as always

Just like people are giving the Lakers until the deadline to mesh, I guess we should give the bench until the deadline to mesh. If not, we can make some moves and hopefully be able to make a run late in the year.

I just feel that most of the bench's issues fall on Augustin

Unfortunately, DJ has lost all confidence in his shot, which does not bode well for the 2nd unit.

I'm OK with the bench. I'm not OK with Hansbrough and Augustin. Either Ian or Miles needs to start playing the backup 4 or the Pacers need a trade ASAP for a backup big. In any case they need a new backup PG.

@haralabob: The NBA playcalling down the stretch has been comical. They keep on trying to get their bigs vs OKCs bigs.

DJ actually wasn't entirely worthless, I don't think you can put the blame on him this game.

Our defense in the first half was bad, and our offense in the second half was terrible. Both Hibbert and West were having success in the first half and we kind of went away from that in the second.

He was good this game. He gave us some important points. I'm not blaming him on this game.

I was just talking generally. It would just be nice if DJ was to succeed here

DJ was pretty decent today, he was agressive and made some nice passes.

Yep, as terrible as he's been, have to recognize when he puts in a solid effort (Which tonight was)

Free Throws: 11 of 13 for the Pacers, 25 of 30 for the Thunder. That might have had something to do with it.

Frank played the starters a little more than normal, I think they were gassed at the end of the game.

Gerald Green actually looked half-ways decent

I knew Roy Hibbert was done after that Westbrook block. Just crushed his measly little confidence into oblivion.

    Silver lining?

Durant has only shot under 40% four times this year......PG on Durant for most of the game had him shoot 8-24...shooting for .375 FG%.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

Ok, I finally saw the Westbrook rejection. I just...don't want to talk about it.

The little man was a good 2 feet above Hibbert and brought Roy down to the floor. Classic.

Obligatory Free Lance post.......Lance was 4-8 from the Field....1-1 from the 3pt line, didn't turn the ball over and was the only Player on the court with a positive +/- ( +4 ).

    Just sayin'

Yeah, it was bad. But I think he had no idea Westbrook was coming. I doubt there's a player in this league that could have been strong enough to dunk it through that block. Westbrook was making "big man" plays all game anyway. Several times he actually was successfully boxing out a Pacers big letting his big men get the rebound. And he kept a number of 50/50 rebounds alive that normally Hibbert or West would secure.
